@peha, Long press on the track-line where you want to rejoin, a bit ahead in the route from where you are. This can only be done on the phone.

Ja, bij gebrek aan internet, of bereikbaarheid van het platform. Alles wat eerder al gesynct was, blijft uiteraard beschikbaar, en als je nogmaals in het route menu gaat, synct hij meestal keurig weer opnieuw.

Naar plan.tomtom. wordt juist de track overgezet en niet de route. De track is juist vormvast en wordt eventueel alleen door wegwerkzaamheden gewijzigd.

Ist leider im Moment so. Man arbeitet dran.

Today I had a look on my carabc carplay device on my motorbike. There the altitude is shown correctly ... seems to be a VW issue On my mobile phone the value is correct as well ...

Like i said. They are visual on the map. That mean Here knows about them.

@Brett-Bartick it is probably historical as setting the map layer to default to OpenStreetMap was probably easier to code, everyone including Basic account users have access to the OpenStreetMap layer if the default map was set to follow your personal map settings then I think that is extra work to code, not a huge amount extra but still some extra work for the developers to code as it would need to access your account capabilities/subscription level maybe in the new web planner this might be changed but for the current version I definitely think not in truth I think the "Animate" feature is a nice idea but pretty much pointless

@Con-Hennekens Well, licenses are limited per month. I don't see the problem. I'm just saying we shouldn't have to depend on staff to delete teams. I insist on the concept: maintain ALL current limitations. Give the user the management of OCCASIONAL TASKS.

@Lenny-O Hi Lenny, That is not due to the Ridernav R7M: What you see on the screen of the Ridernav R7M (and all other similar devices) is determined by the app you are using. So not by the Ridernav R7M itself, because it only shows what it is being powered by. This has to do with the way app developers have implemented Android Auto / Carplay, as well as the limitations imposed on them by Apple and Google... And yes, it looks different and you are missing a lot. You could try other apps and see which one you like best in combination with a display. (For example, I am very happy with Kurviger for turn-by-turn navigation, and Sygic, Google and Waze for A to B navigation. (But that up to you to decide.) Regarding the size, I can only say 7 inches is 7 inches... and that is substantially larger than my mobile phone and, moreover, much more visible in sunlight. If you want something even larger than 7 inches, keep in mind that it might limit your view of your motorcycle display. And yes, the housing is larger than the display itself, but that is the case with all models and brands, so you will have to accept that if you want to do anything with it By the way, there is only one device on the market that, according to reviewers, scores better with its specs, but it is 2.5 to 3 times as expensive as the Ridernav R7M. I tested that one too, and it works the same way. In the meantime, I have driven 3,000 km with the Ridernav R7M and am very satisfied. I tested various other brands and models in combination with multiple navigation apps, but I found them all to be worse to bad. Push the compass button in the lower right corner onm your phone to change the view. This will fix zoom issues on AA/ACP most of the time also.

GPX 1.1 is the best option. It exports route, track and waypoints. Remember to set the map to TomTom before the export ! There's been some discussion about this, and I've had some too, about the arrival data, mileage, etc., as well as the compass... with a CarPlay as large as the Garmin Zumo's screen, the data is very readable on the Zumo, but the same can't be said for the MRA, not to mention the altitude, which is really tiny... but I don't know if they'll address that... but honestly, I hope so, because it's not something you should ignore... at least I hope so...
