Since the latest version, I haven’t really experienced it anymore. With the previous version, it happened constantly. I only had to start the app and move it to the background, and it would already go wrong.

@Corjan-Meijerink OK understand. It is an iPhone 7 plus. Is there any chance to get back to version 4.4.0 Because this version worked and it should just be a backup offline. If not..... the iPhone will go into the next trash can.

I think I may have discovered the cause of the Sync Bug described above In this post https://forum.myrouteapp.com/post/68014 - I describe how when using the UK location/timezone the time stamps on the routes are a bit messed up, it is impossible to get them correct for the UK & the sorting in the mobile app comes out wrong It also appears that the cause of the sync bug described above is due to the web planner & using the UK timezone In the web planner if I set my timezone location to Europe I do not get the above sync error To me the problem is not with the mobile app or the sync, it is the web planner timezone function that has a bug is messing things up So if you are in the UK & use the UK timezone it is possible your routes will not be correctly synced unless you edit them in the mobile app before going offline

@BJ, could well be but I really don't know. Corjan has just released a new public version, as far as I know it contains also an SDK update. Please try and let us know

@Makro said in Spoken waypoints prevent spoken route directions: But I still believe I do the right thing by providing feedback to the developers. No one disputed that, but it is up to the devs what they do with it.

Thanks for the replies. I reported what I experienced with the app. Anyway, adjusting the zoom level helps. I glance at the screen to see what the next turn is, but I’m looking well ahead at the road and not staring at the screen.

@Brian-McG said in Navigation Option Show "Original Route" Does Not Display Consistently: if I edit the web planned route in the app planner it seems to fit perfectly Brian you absolute LEGEND! you found a work around! I just tried it. WiFi and 4G off. Offline maps and the original route was all over the place, hit the pencil icon and BOOM it follows the exact route!! This is such a great hack, I had turned off (Show Original route) as it was doing more bad than good. The downside is being taken down a single track thinking I don't remember planning this only to realise it wasn't part of the original route. Now thanks to you I can avoid that! Thank you so much!!! Hopefully the MRA team will come up with a fix in the next update @Corjan-Meijerink more work your way mate cheers . [image: 1756119921096-1000115664.jpg] [image: 1756119921310-1000115665.jpg]

@Nick-Carthew Thanks, I think I'll use MRA online to start with, but if I have problems I'll switch to offline (I have already downloaded the maps) and use Waze on the head unit (I'm in a car) for traffic updates. Cheers

Hi, just checked the settings and location permissions are set to always and double-checking the Auto-tracking setting, this is set to off. Thanks!

@Jaap-van-Maanen Okey true. Avoided => attempted to miss at a extremely high cost. Especially in The Netherlands they have to be taken to cross certain rivers. The alternative is way worse so then a highway is taken.

@Donovan-Smith that is a long A-B route, just shy of 600 miles it seems to be doing the right thing in avoiding the tolls I put similar start - end points in google maps & selected avoid tolls & the 2 systems seem to track pretty well a few small differences, the main one being how to route round the tool on the A63 at the Aire Port des Landes, only about 35 miles into the trip If you select the TomTom & Openstreetmap route algorithms you will see they also take slightly different paths but in general they are all doing similar things Remember to return the route algorithm setting to Here before you navigate

@steve-spake Your XT is on and connected to your phone? You should see that "D" icon in the top of both your screens, XT and phone.

@Corjan-Meijerink thank you very much for investigation. Unfortunately I did not have the same Idea to look into. I only checked the file on PC by XML reader. If it will happen again, I will inform here again... Have a good night, sleep well

I have had the same issue as well. I think it is caused by my Sync3 AA/CP headend. I have not heard it with my direct connected helmet headset.

@Arron-Watkins, you do not need to download routes for navigation. Just open your routes from the routes menu in the app. If you do what @Rob-Verhoeff said, you can even do that while offline (after an initial sync of course).
