@Hans-Udo-Erdmenger it almost sounds as if the system is driving this route in the opposite direction - "after 2 hours - 3km before my first waypoint" ! & the distance shown to point 2 seems to have increased from 82km to 139km normally when I ride a route the distance to the next points comes down

The behaviour varies from tunnel to tunnel. Not sure why. Most annoying is that the app recalculates if the gps position wanders off, even with the setting for automatic recalculation off.

Next time i will take some screenshots, then it's maybe better to see or explain. :-). For me it's not neccesary that NO other lines are appearing on screen. If i make a route i only need to see the line from this route. Anyway i just want to mension this, maybe interesting for development. Still happy with MRA !

I think I've cracked it... In the Good Lock Sound Assistant settings, if you scroll way down there is a setting "Maintain media volume while using navigation". Selecting this to 'on' while having MRA set at 10% in the "Individual app volumes" with YouTube set to 100% seems to provide something akin to what I'm trying to achieve. Thanks for putting me onto Good Lock, @lennyo . Certainly seems better than the Precise Volume app which wasn't suitable in any way at all.

@Crispey happy to see - you have detected the difference in the routing engine (list item in "Options") and the map overlays (list item on map). The map overlays don't have any affect to route planning. It's more gore your comfort to read the map. The list items in "Options" makes a difference in routing and gives you the possibility to compare, how your route will looks like if you select: Standard (Open Street map) TomTom HERE (MyRouteApp, Garmin) If you would like to share your route with others (my they uses TomTom) - and you can see, your route changes if you switch from Standard to TomTom - then you can enter more routepoints to force the engine to create same route by both options. If you want to use MyRouteApp Navigation for your ride, you need to plan it with engine HERE, because this the only, the App is navigating a route!

@white.mouse Heb ik zaterdag al gedaan. Ik heb contact gehad met Marinus, die zou er vandaag aandacht voor vragen. Ik hoop dat het opgelost gaat worden, blijft vreemd. Ook nog de app op de iPad gezet, zelfde resultaat. Het andere draadje was deze melding bij een route van a naar b, dat werkt bij mijn wel goed.

It happens with both my Carpuride devices (so external Android Auto, not built-on) since some time; it has worked in the past and stopped working since one of the last updates. I think your best bet is to raise a support ticket using the link in the top right-hand corner of this page - https://www.myrouteapp.com/support The fact that @marinus-van-deudekom does not have a problem with AA in his car in no way helps you fix your issue.

Thanks for confirmation that others have seen this (minor) issue. Unlike paul69, in my case the volume controls would not fully restore the volume until MRA next did an announcement. And although I do have another “speaking” app on my phone, for speed camera alerts, this was not active at the time. I have filled in a support ticket.

@Bill-Wright-0 ...for road closures to be included in MRA, road construction companies or users of sat-navs must report them to the map providers. The map providers then need staff and time to update the maps. This takes a very long time! In such cases, you have no choice but to find an alternative route yourself. The automated detour function in the app can only work, if a route block is officially known.

Ik raad aan om de routeberekening van TomTom en Here te vergelijken en te laten gelijk lopen door de punten te verplaatsen. Importeer de route van de club als een track. Je kan de track gewoon 1 op 1 volgen. Importeer de route van de club en open hem als een route, vergelijk hem dan met de track ( ook soms spoor genoemd ) als onderlegger. Verplaats of voeg via-punten strategisch toe tot dat alles gelijk loopt. Dan is het opgelost. Daarom is MRA ook uitgevonden en voortdurend verbeterd !

@Thomas-NL het kan zijn dat je probeert een rondrit te genereren waardoor je vanwege de gekozen richting deels in het water terecht komt. Als je bv in Rotterdam staat en je wil een rondrit van 150 km maken in westelijke richting, krijg je die melding. Oplossing verander de richting van je rit
