In my experience, the breaks I schedule are merely a guide. I can never say exactly in advance how long it will take, for example, to get a drink or a meal. For planning purposes, it’s useful to be able to make an estimate, which gives you a rough finishing time. But once you’re on the road, it becomes tricky, and you’d have to stick strictly to the times you’ve entered. When I’m driving, I just try to keep an eye on the estimated finish time. That tells me how much time I’ve got left for a pause. But perhaps it would be a good idea, if possible, to add an extra button for an ETA that includes pauses

When you (still) use Basecamp I would recommend GPX 1.1 (route, track, POI). You can then plan the route using the ‘recalculate’ option and afterwards easily check for any discrepancies against the track you’ve recorded. If you send the route and track from Basecamp to the GPS via a cable, you can be sure that everything stays the same. I’ve been doing it this way for years and have never had any problems with the route!

Ik was reeds terug gegaan naar een vorige versie en ga die denk ik nog wat houden, tenzij er een meerwaarde is aan de nieuwe versie. Wat mag die dan eventueel zijn?

@Marinus-van-Deudekom said: To see the routes of a friend you must be friends and the routes must be set to at least friends to see them in your friends library. The car or bike profile is of no interest. I do not know why you mentioned this as it is confirmed a bug in the webapplication. @bull-tahr : if you want to get the routes visible in your libary you have to set them to "Public", use the Car profile AND you have to publish you route. [image: image.jpeg] your libary is still not visable so I presume you have not published your routes. [image: image.jpeg] I can see you still have some routes with the motor profile [image: image.jpeg] if the above criteria are met , you should see the routes in your profile: [image: image.jpeg] To prove the remark about the bug, when the routes are visible in your libary, switch one back to the "motor" modus and you will see it will not pop-up anymore in your libary.

@Lynchy67 It is on the list for major maintenance of the website, just like being able to export multiple routes in one go. Please be patient.

@Garry-Davis exactly, that would have been my second advice, but you are one step ahead. You can choose your beloved app, to count a route to the petrolstation

Hi ! So, the bad news is that Transfagarasan is still closed for now, but it should be opened in the next two weeks. You can check the live cam from time to time: https://www.roxy-world.ro/webcam-transfagarasan Good news is that Transalpina was opened about 5 days ago, some of my friends went there already and confirmed this. Enjoy Romania !
