Did you try setting your option to shortest route?

@Herman-Veldhuizen I don't know where the cursor was approaching point (7). It's a very technical section of Mulholland Highway that demands 100% attention on the road. The hairpins of that section are incredibly demanding, made even more challenging with a 9% upwards grade. It's a Butler Maps G2 rated section that I would argue probably deserves the highest level G1. To your point, HERE does seem to have oddities. Whatever the situation, the route developer should be alerted of potential problems before actually executing it. Being hit with strange behavior while on the route is absolutely the wrong time. Using the Garmin GPS, I absolutely know ahead of time if the unit will treat the route differently (at execution) than what I developed. I sometimes have to do more than one iteration of adjustment before finalizing the route but it's worth the effort.

Hi, we use the colors for shaping and via points as internal code for special information. During the last drive I noticed that the display color on screen for via points does not match with the settings. On iOS (iphone) [image: 1783421512110-img_0301.png] Shaping point OK [image: 1783421546041-img_0302.png] Via point not OK [image: 1783421576097-img_0303.png] Via point not OK On Android the same. @Erik-Becht As far as I know, this isn’t possible without additional components. Please have a look here: DMD BMW Sync Box – THATS-RALLY https://share.google/l9Ja9OMkrZbN04Acc Unfortunately, I can’t tell you whether the MRA app works with it, though. Alternatively, there are various controllers from Silverfox; I can confirm that MRA is supported with these. Motorcycle Navigation & GPS | Silverfox Controllers https://share.google/P9SR472VKkdflf4Yp

That's not accurate. Auto-recalculation will try to get you back on the route as best as it can using it's own logic when you are on a 1.2 .gpx route. This is an overly simplistic way of thinking about it, but because the 1.2 gpx route has to follow the actual track, it's like having thousands of shaping points in the route section of the .gpx file that forces the Garmin to calculate the route the way that you want it to go. In a 1.1 .gpx file's route section you have the starting via point, your shaping points and via points, and your ending via point. The Garmin uses it's own logic and your setting to determine how to get between these points. Read my previous posts in this thread and look at my examples and you'll see what I mean. Even better, take one of your own routes, save it as a 1.1 and a 1.2 route and examine the .gpx files in a text editor for yourself, then import them into your Garmin and see if the route that they create exactly matches what you're seeing in MRA. A really quick way to check this is to check the route's distance in the Garmin against what's shown in MRA. It should be almost identically the same in both if the route is the same. Another way to quickly check is to show both the route and track in the Garmin simultaneously in different colors and you can easily see where they deviate. Many times the deviations are small and insignificant. Other times they can be quite substantial. I showed that previously very clearly with a sample route that I created with just a very few shaping points.

@Lynchy67 It is on the list for major maintenance of the website, just like being able to export multiple routes in one go. Please be patient.

Hi ! So, the bad news is that Transfagarasan is still closed for now, but it should be opened in the next two weeks. You can check the live cam from time to time: https://www.roxy-world.ro/webcam-transfagarasan Good news is that Transalpina was opened about 5 days ago, some of my friends went there already and confirmed this. Enjoy Romania !
