@Steve-Kelly-0 I can only get the issue you show in the first post if I use OpenStreetMap as the route calculate option If I use Here or TomTom for the route calculation it is fine as you say it is with Google [image: 1783536325056-3df2c25b-5e5d-4e76-93d6-ff44132d5100-image.jpeg] When you have 1 routing calculator giving you a bad route it is more than likely that routing calculator is working with bad/old data If you actually go to the OpenStreetMap site your will see the it routes down the N20 with no problem as well [image: 1783536444280-6131672e-1ae9-4063-b8ad-9390b984a05e-image.jpeg] This tells you that the issue is with the OpenStreetMap data used by MRA, it is known that MRA do not regularly update their OSM data, they can be very slow to update so you will come across issues like this when using the OSM route calculator in MRA The trick is to check & see if you also get the bad routing calculation on the OSM site

@Brian-McG Good suggestion, and I agree. That's why in my second iteration, linked in post#4, I moved point#7 further up the road to the straight area where the map and the route line converged again. For good MRA practice, I'll definitely be more conscious of this in the future. I'm more concerned that the MRA route line and HERE map are out of sync. I use other phone apps (inRoute and OsmAnd) and I've never an issue where I place a waypoint/marker along the middle of a road. It shouldn't matter. In fact, OsmAnd has a "snap" feature to ensure the route line is attached to the road. Back to MRA, I trusted that what is OK in Routeplanner will sync accurately to the Next App without issue. Clearly that isn't always the case. Again, I get what happened. It's a HERE issue, and the MRA developers seem to wash their hands of anything happening at that layer. I understand they have enough on their plate having to chase endlessly evolving CarPlay/Android Auto issues. I'll leave them at peace....

Hi Corjan, after taking a second look at the logic behind the display, I don't think there's a mistake. Display (normal): remaining time and distance to the destination (no color, just a black-and-white checkered flag) Display: Remaining time and distance to the next shaping point (the correct color is shown as an inverted drop) Display: Remaining time and distance to the next via point. (the correct color is shown as a hand) If shaping and via points are mixed on the route it will show only the next coming one (with the right color) depending on the setting 2. or 3.

You're very welcome. I agree about Tread/Explore 100%!! I tried MacDroid and while it does work, I found OpenMTP to be much more straightforward and simple to use for my application, and it's 100% free (although I did send the developer a contribution as it's WELL worth it!). Please report back and let us know your experience both with the XT3, 1.2 .gpx and OpenMTP!

@Apatrida-2-0 Cuando lo uses, no querrás cambiar. Es el mejor planificador y conjuntamente con su navegador, no tiene rival. Ya hace tiempo que lo uso y ni siquiera exporto los GPX para tenerlos por si he de usar otro navegador... porque no lo he necesitado (por ahora). @Garry-Davis exactly, that would have been my second advice, but you are one step ahead. You can choose your beloved app, to count a route to the petrolstation
