I entered this thread because there was another unnecessary MRA fan comment denigrating the OP's final Garmin decision. I made no Garmin Fanboy comments trying to convert him. If you're truly interested in Garmin functions that don't currently exist in MRA, search my many posts on the subject. I have no interest in repeating them here.

After a bit of experimentation I've settled on the Dart and Explore combination which gives reasonable contrast and certainly a lot more usable than the default settings.

If it happens often, I prefer to have a dedicated folder "for friends" - always with access right "for friends", as @peter-zehentreiter wrote. If it's needed to share a route, I simply move or copy my root into this folder. My friends knows about this folder...

@Guzzist Yes and make absolutely shure that recalculation and traffic info is OFF What I do to make shure there's enough shaping points is compare the route with TomTom and make shure they are the same. Even when the Garmin is doing its trick or won't find other roads to plot I have no preferences set in MRA and Garmin

To operate tracks isn't the main competence of MRA. May in future...

@Lynchy67 It is on the list for major maintenance of the website, just like being able to export multiple routes in one go. Please be patient.

@Garry-Davis exactly, that would have been my second advice, but you are one step ahead. You can choose your beloved app, to count a route to the petrolstation

Hi ! So, the bad news is that Transfagarasan is still closed for now, but it should be opened in the next two weeks.
