If that's your main focus, then the app is a good choice. For me personally, all this falls into the category of up-front planning, so I don't find it to be priority #1. On the other hand, a Gamin excels at core navigation capabilities. The units (depending on model) dynamically capture 20+ trip data metrics in the areas of navigation and route data. They're all available for viewing (as they're updated) during the ride. Most of these elements are simply not captured in the MRA app. Also important, a Garmin GPS provides more detailed and vibrant 3D navigation maps (especially the XT3), has superior off-route navigation capabilities, the ability search "up ahead" in a number of categories, and if you choose to, dynamically modify your route for additional unplanned stops. This all falls into the category of core capabilities, which for me is my focus while on the road. So "better" is going to depend on what's most important to an individual rider. There really isn't an absolute when considering the choices.

What is interesting for me is, that my company is publishing an APP under Android and iOS and both version will be submitted on the same day, the final difference when it will be available for our users is not more then 1 or 2 days. It looks like Goofle don't like GPS Apps

It is now 16 days since @corjan-meijerink announced the quick fix. But I haven't seen it yet on Google! Has anyone seen it yet? The way Google treats its customers is becoming a real disgrace! At this point, I’d really like it if we could do without Google!

If it happens often, I prefer to have a dedicated folder "for friends" - always with access right "for friends", as @peter-zehentreiter wrote. If it's needed to share a route, I simply move or copy my root into this folder. My friends knows about this folder...

The combination of Tread and Garmin external storage (i.e. Explore DB) are dangerous to the health of your routes. This means your routes can be manipulated by Garmin without your knowledge. As noted by others here, transfer routes using the wired method where you copy your GPX file directly into the Gamin/GPX folder on your XT2. This will guarantee that your route will not be altered. I know -- it's more work than using the Tread app for copy. It's not really that much more, but an annoyance all the same.

To operate tracks isn't the main competence of MRA. May in future...

@Lynchy67 It is on the list for major maintenance of the website, just like being able to export multiple routes in one go. Please be patient.

@Garry-Davis exactly, that would have been my second advice, but you are one step ahead. You can choose your beloved app, to count a route to the petrolstation
