@Hans-van-de-Ven-MR-MRA Dit werkt op een iPhone goed maar via een CarPlay scherm kan je niet op de routepunten drukken. Vanmiddag maar weer op de BMW Nav6 gereden. Ik wist deze mogelijkheid niet. Na een pauze dus eerst mijn app via de telefoon op een punt drukken en vanuit daar verder gaan en dan springt de CarPlay scherm ook naar dat punt. Handig NEE !!!!

@Fred-Gilbert Hi Fred I've looked at your route. Most of your shapingpoints are way off the route. When it's like that any device shall have trouble finding teh desired route for you. Zoom in max and place all the shapingpoint ON the route. Like that riding the route will give satisfaction instead of ........ Have fun

@richtea999 I don't think that I am (for this route) that sophisticated a user. I was aiming to get to Bicester and used the app to help (keeping an eye out for traffic, etc) while knowing a couple of the roads that are fun to use. What surprises me is that the app takes a long time to recalculate, even if I am well past the point that "my" route is quicker than the app planned one (here I am assuming it is trying to get to the destination in the shortest time - but is that how the algorithms work?). Google seems to recalculate much quicker.

@Stephen-Rowland for me the routing looks reasonable on the OpenStreetMap web site [image: 1723489393841-574604d9-b73c-424b-a535-1fe232de114f-image.png] On MRA it looks wrong as per the OP, so my guess is, it is the usual out of date OSM maps used by MRA

Je hebt een routepunt gemist. Dus moet je omdraaien. Daarom zie je al dit dingen in de zijwegen.

I have just spent the weekend travelling across Europe using Navigation. And I agree there needs to be a way to just swap units without having to go into profile. Yes tomtom has the auto feature and I use that. But it seem that people want the ability to change if they choose too. Personally I prefer to have my satnav match the road signs for distance etc. I guess I am fortuanate enough to have spent over 10 years living in Europe so converting is second nature for me but not everyone. But I have to say it was annoying when I can convert my car, google maps and everything else...but not Navigation to local units

@Marjea Mogelijk dat er GPS afwijkingen zijn waardoor de pijl wat heen er weer schommelt. Wanneer er een actieve route is, helpt die met voorspellen waar je ongeveer heen gaat
