Hallo Hubert ! 1000 Dank für diese Tipps. Sehr informativ und detailliert beschrieben - werde ich kurzfristig befolgen. Ich hatte bisher immer gleich in HERE geplant wg. der seltsamen Fehlermeldungen. Bin gespannt. Mehr Sorgen macht mir aber mein 1. Problem.....bin ich der Einzige, dem das passiert ? Habe am Sonntag nochmal alle erdenklichen Updates auf Smartphone und Tablet geladen. Werde diese Woche mal die Situation provozieren aber ohne Android Auto. Einmal mit Tablet navigieren und zusätzlich habe ich MRA auf dem Android Autoradio installiert. Das werde ich dann auch mal ausprobieren. Danke und Gruß Andreas

If i see the pictures. It is still an issue for countries where driving on the left is normal (like UK). I saw it also end May/Begin June when i was in Scotland. But i cannot recall it happens on the mainland of Europe. Zooming/Panning is still an issue for Android Auto. I've played with some settings on my phone. The changes were clearly visible on my phone. But in Android Auto virtually nothing happens.

@Gregor-6 de offline kaarten zijn enkel voor het navigeren. De kaart op het startscherm is niet offline beschikbaar. In de toekomst willen we dit wijzigen

I also noticed a few times, that immediately after an update there can be some problems. I am not sure, but it could have to do with updating an already running app. I make it a habit to force close the app from the Android System menu after an update, that seems to help.

@Bouke-Ent Ik heb de update uitgevoerd maar het maakt helaas geen verschil. Als de app start terwijl de telefoon op de motor bevestigd is en horizontaal staat, is er alleen een blank scherm te zien. Enfin. Ik red me er wel mee...

@Marinus-van-Deudekom Thanks for that, Marinus. I had downloaded the files to the phone, but they were in the phone's memory, not on a memory card. Interesting, though -- it seems like the issue could somehow be speed of the connection between the two devices. I will have to ride around a little more to see if the problem is a regular issue. I was using MRA entirely in offline mode. The area (in Mexico) where I was riding has very little connectivity. I wonder if that might be a factor too. Thanks again, Vinnie

@Bouke-Ent hi Bouke. Dat is idd hoe ik het nu opgelost heb. De villa is vervangen door de Warung (eet tent) op de kruising naar de onbekende weg. Bedankt voor het meedenken allemaal!

I would indeed recommend downloading latest version (4.2.0) and ensure the offline maps are up to date

@Corjan-Meijerink I have been through this sort of thing before. An upgrade to an app is released and it does not work for everyone. I understand it is close to impossible to diagnose technical problems from halfway around the world on someone else phone. So far nobody has offered any suggestions of specific settings or possible causes to look into. I cant be the only person that is having issues. Being mid-season, when i have rides planned, i will switch over to another app that i use as a back up. I will revisit MRA another time when riding season is over. Hopefully by then what ever issue i am having might be fixed in a future release. It is just a shame this happened now. I am sure engineering this app to work perfectly for everyone is a challenge.

@Peter-Schiefer, well then I have to correct myself too. I did not know this about old iPhones, but then again, I am no iphone guy Good that they corrected that, because it really makes no sense to shutdown GPS, since it does not send anything. Imagine a speedcam ticket for flying by in a plane

@Nick-4f, The current streetname as well as the upcoming streetname are displayed in the app: [image: 1721635309518-9cb6870b-2a57-4049-81d1-ce26e8a9299a-image.png] I agree that the street names on the actual map are not readable while underway, but to be honest, I have the upcoming street name disabled in the app-settings, because I really don't care about street names. You usually can't read any street names in the real world too, so in my opinion it adds nothing to have them readable in the app. Not for scenic routes anyway.

Het "op tijd lopen" van de navigatie is nooit een sterk punt geweest van MRA. De laatste tijd ging het best goed. Maar bij mijn laatste trip viel mij ook op dat MRA op een bepaald moment weer verder achter liep. Dat werd ook niet meer zelfstandig gecorrigeerd.

@Brian-McG Indeed the route stills open on the website without any issue. I found that there was an extra routepoint added by mistake and made the route 1000km longer. However after correcting still no joy in the app = error possibly too long. No harm done, i can live with that. Thanks
