Switch to navigation from route planning

I either haven’t found it, or it isn’t obvious, but why is there no simple option in route planning mode to switch to navigation?
It would be so much better to plan the route and then select ‘navigate this route’
I seem to have all sort of problems getting to navigate a planned route. -

I seem to have all sort of problems getting to navigate a planned route.@John2241 If you are planning from the app via the Route lab, once you have finished, tap the back button to go to your library, then tap it again to go to the menu page and then tap Last route to navigate the route that you have just created.
