Things I don’t like

Hi
Did a 4000 plus tour from Malaga to the Netherlands. Two issues.
The gasstation option is not good. Many times the app gave a gasstation but there was none.
Second. The app is very quick with passing a waypoint when you even turn the other way for a few meters. The message to suspend the waypoint is gone before you know it. Should be longer in site to make a decision.
When I close a route to tweet and then start again it does not pick up where I am. So I have to dismiss a lot of waypoints.
For the rest? Perfect.Arjan

@Arjan-de-Vries thanks for the feedback!
Your first two issues where addressed in 4.1.2. What version were you using?Regarding dismissing the waypoints, simply long press the one where you want to continue!

@Corjan-Meijerink Wow ik had geen idee dat je kon skippen naar een waypoint, en druk ook altijd alle voorgaande waypoints door hahahahaha

Your first two issues where addressed in 4.1.2. What version were you using?I have noticed the same issue with gasstations. Or they have changes from name/owner or they simply don't exist anymore. I think this issue is also related to the map used to create routes/tracks. I have seen some differences between the HERE map and the OSM regarding gasstations, both in The Netherlands as in some foreign countries.
Maybe this is causing the issue as well?

I found an example:
Location: Alkemadelaan, Roelofarendsveen
Brand Gas station according Google Maps: Firezone
Brand according the HERE map used in MRA : TexacoThe POI placed does provide the correct brand/owner, but as still can bee seen, HERE shows this gas station as Texaco.
Issues with wrong gas station brand/owner and gas stations no longer existing is not caused by MRA im my opinion.

for the gas stations, i have found that Tom Tom is unreliable as well, and Google not that good either.
If the stop is important I try and check through to the company site -
@Arjan-de-Vries another gas station issue, IMO is this - you can click the search petrol function in the app, many stations pop up as options - HOWEVER, none are displayed on the map to actuallly show you their location - which direction is it from where you are currently located?
Not an issue if you are in a known area, but if anyone wants to trust the app as their main navigation app, and you are on a trip of any sort, in an unfamiliar area, there is ZERO indication of the direction the station is. I have experienced where the recommended station is actually BEHIND, or significantly off the planned route, making doubling back/retracing steps more common than moving forward.
If am in an actual pinch (and it happens!), unfortunately, I have to pull over, open Google Maps (which DOES show station location on the map when searching petorl stations) so that I can pick one and stay on my intended route, or as close to it as possible.
Much work to be done....the app has a lot of promise - just need to get there.

Beta release 304 actually does this...

@Corjan-Meijerink thanks for the waypoint issue. Did not know that. Great! Keep up the good work. Flawless for more than 4000 km through remote areas as well.

@Stefan-Hummelink definitely an improvement! Hadn't used it with the latest updates - progress!
It appears that only works if you have an actual route planned and in use - an even better enhancement would be to show the stations when the petrol station icon is pressed in the app when no route has been entered.
