Just on the scam front, for those that worry about clicking (and rightly so)...
It's always a good idea to examine any link before clicking on it:
on a PC just hover the cursor over the link to examine it
on a phone/tablet long press on the link and examine it in the popup that appears
What you're looking for is the two parts before the first single forward '/'.
If that's a recognisible domain (the expected company or website name + .com, .co.uk, .nl, etc) you'll be OK to click through.
Some examples - the bit that matters is in bold:

This one is trustworthy because it is part of the Apple domain.
This is also trustworthy:
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.cloudmax.myrouteapp
A safe link to this forum:
