@Reinhard-32 Thanks! I tested it extensively and no matter what I did the HERE map created this little spur. Here was my interaction with their customer support team. Here was the initial response from Doha in customer support a day after I submitted the problem on May 6: "Thank you for providing us with this information. I’ve just forwarded it to our cartographers, so they can take any necessary changes as soon as possible. As soon as we have an update, we will let you know." And here was the second response from Doha on May 21: "We just wanted to let you know that our database was updated according to your request. These changes will be available on one of the next map versions which will soon be released to our users and we therefore ask for your patience in the meantime." I have found that the HERE support team and their cartographers are very receptive to receiving map issue reports and fixing them if they are in fact issues. I just verified that this problem has in fact been fixed on the HERE map and it now routes correctly. Best regards, Steve

@Corjan-Meijerink that’s great news. I’m using the Garmin experience as a baseline where I can start/stop , change routes and route options all from the device screen. I purchased lifetime subscription to both MRP and MRA so I’m in-it-to-win-it. The current MRA build requires too much interaction with the phone but has been stable in testing with my Ford F150 and wideband Bluetooth AA. Looking forward to the updates.

There are two ways to do this. You can do it via the Toolkit menu in the web planner or by using the app. Since you mentioned wanting to reverse the route upon arrival, open the route. Click on the pencil icon, then click on Menu and choose the 'Reverse route' option. Do keep in mind that you might end up with a somewhat odd route. Waypoints placed on roads with separated carriageways always cause issues or require adjustments. The software isn’t clever enough to automatically place the waypoint on the correct side of the carriageway for the return journey.

@richard-3v Yep, that's certainly an option, and I do that when I'm flying. However I find that using direction of travel mode gives me much more useful situational awareness especially in high density areas where I'm making a lot of turns quickly. Thanks, Steve

@peha I'm glad that someone else finds this feature important. Even when simply driving, it's nice to have the speed limits displayed. Especially as it has become a real routine when driving. And then it's distracting if you can't find the information when looking quickly. OK, that's the problem. But maybe there is a solution, or rather a workaround: Your look-only route starts at A Create a short route with the TomTom route planner. A is the start, B is the opposite of your look-only route. If you then start the navigation, track navigation is automatically activated. And if you move away from the track after point A, no route instructions are given to bring you back to the track. So you have peace of mind AND the navigation screen with speed. Perhaps something needs to be adjusted in the settings. When you create the AB route on your smartphone, it is automatically created with Here. You then have to activate track navigation in the settings. Und dann ist es ablenkend, wenn man beim schnellen Schauen die Information nicht findet. OK, das ist das Problem. Aber vielleicht gibt es eine Lösung, oder besser einen workaround: Deine nur Schauen Route beginnt bei A Erstelle mit dem TomTom Routenplaner eine kurze Route. A ist der Anfang, B entgegengesetzt zu deiner nur Schauen Route. Startest du dann die Navigation, wird automatisch die Track-Navigation aktiviert. Und wenn du dich nach Punkt A vom Track entfernst, werden keine Routenanweisungen gegeben, um die auf den Track zurückzubringen. Du hast also Ruhe UND den Navigations Bildschirm mit Geschwindigkeit. Vielleicht muss dazu noch etwas in den Einstellungen angepasst werden. Wenn du die AB Route am smartphone erstellst, wird diese automatisch mit Here erstellt. Dann musst du in die Einstellungen die Track-Navigation obligat aktivieren. Das bringt uns dann durch die Zeit, die Corjan braucht um die super duper App neu zu bauen. Und wenn die noch besser wird als die aktuelle, dann freue ich mich schon sehr darauf.

@Guzzist - da hab ich mich vielleicht missverständlich ausgedrückt ... das aktuelle Limit wird immer angezeigt - richtig -, aber andere Programme (z.B. SYGIC) zeigen auf der Karte in der Ferne schon das nächste Limit an, auf das man zufährt - das finde ich enorm praktisch (und nützlicher für mich als Breiten- und Höhenbegrenzungen). Vielleicht könnte man das zumindest optional einblendbar machen?

@Thomas-Neumeyer In another topic "speed and speed limit display" there is a discussion about showing the speed limit during the free ride. It was replied few days ago this will be implemented in summer this year. So, hopefully this speed limit will also work offline and then I think it is necessary to link the map offline for free ride.
