Show at least the next 2 fuel stations along the route
-
I had hoped the latest version would show the distance to at least the next two fuel stations along the route, preferably the next three.
I don't put fuel stations waypoints on the route.
I cannot switch to MRA Navigation from TomTom until this feature is implemented.
-
@Chris-Hall I don't want to see any fuel stations unless I request it because I am low in fuel.
I don't want all that clutter on the screen when the fuel tank is full.
I cannot switch to MRA navigation from Tomtom if the screen is full of useless info.

I agree, the deciding factor to visit the first gas station, is the distance to the next gas station.

You are a lucky bird, since there is a toggle for it in the settings

I am, I really am.
Further, I put my km counter on the dashboard to 0 when I fill the tank and I know that I should starting to look out for a fuel station when it reaches +/- 250km
and of course, there is also a fuel gauge on the motorcycle that serves the same purpose.
So, the fuel station warning in MRA only serves for the situations where I ignored all the already available "fuel is low" warnings and then I really really really need the nearest fuel station, not the next one
-
@Drabslab, haha, in that case you can leave the toggle off, and use the POI search feature.
I am mostly a frontrunner in a small group, so I need to take into account individual fuel ranges of 200 to 450km, including some who refuse to fill if they have a 100 left

@Drabslab
If it was possible I would give you 10 upvotes -
If my route is traveling through an unknown area I always look for and add fuel stops at the planning stage.
Failing to plan is planning to fail. -
@Nick-Carthew - exactly. Or, for example, travelling in countries (ie: USA) where you can easily get into areas with very few gas station options, making the suggestion of multiple possibilities viable. After the upgrade that allowed to search for things (ie: gas stations), it does bring up numerous options - the down fall being you have no idea which direction the station(s) may be. Hence, the suggestion to add a simple arrow indicator as part of the info brought up.
Difficult to appease so many different views, opinions and riding styles, let alone how each individual 'plans' their adventure.

Good that we all have different methods of driving motorbikes.
I ignore signs for fuel stations until my bike tells me I am shortly empty in x km. Then I would like to know if I need to take the nearest station or can I take the next after this. So information about the next 2–3 stations is welcome. -
and anyway the fuel stations shown in Tom Tom and Google could have been closed down anytime in the last 5 years I have not tested the MRA data. Sure it would be much better
You can't do too much planning. -
Next three fuel stations?? Too much clutter. If I'm following a route, in particular if leading a group, my fuel stops and breaks are preplanned and waypoints are on the route. I tell the other riders how far to the next fuel stop so they know if they have to top up.
When free riding is available, next fuel station would be nice but since I'm not following a route ... how do you select the next fuel station on the route?Love the app.

@Jörgen, yes, in Western Europe you are seldomly further than 10km away from a gasstation. In our area it is it's perfectly feasible to NOT pre-plan any gas stations. I do think however that the method of adding POI which you can add to the route while riding is a nice feature to give some choices in gas stations underway.

Adding something that hopefully will not be considered as a hostile comment.
I would with a large margin prefer that the focus goes to "real" bugs and problems such as the battery issue and the problems related to internet availability that prevent that Next is used/functions before looking into niceties such as 2 or 3 fuel stations on the map.

You are certainly right with your comment, but why not use the time when you have to wait for solutions from others, like the battery problem.

We have definitely not stopped working while waiting for HERE to resolve their issues
This suggestion is noted.
