@RainerT Hi Mate, thanks for your reply. I'm aware of the settings, while riding in Dynamic view I would like on occasion to use the +- zoom on the navigation screen, to give me a view further ahead, or select an alternative side road if there's a closure ahead. Instead of having to change modes to top view and then zoom out then click mode view again to get back to Dynamic (which will then be zoomed in). Hope this clarifies my thoughts

@Kerry-Lebel, Although number three is a nice suggestion, not only for bikers bot also for all other means of transport, it is of course also an option to add your bike in the name of the track when you save it. For the other suggestions, yes, those would be nice too, but I think they become sensible only when HERE will adopt full fledged off-road navigation. I don't think that will happen anytime soon (bummer).

@Richard-18 When it was first available, my mates thought that I was far more intellectual than I really am as I would be relaying to them all of the facts about the different places that we passed on our routes. They didn’t know that I was having it read to me and displayed on phone screen. It is a very useful tool that I use all of the time. I also find myself randomly answering quiz show questions with the knowledge that I have gained from looking up facts to put into route point notes.

Welke versie van de app gebruik je. Kun je zo’n route, met het helmpje (profiel motor) hier delen zodat we met je mee kunnen kijken.zorg ervoor dat de route dat op publiekelijk toegankelijk staat

This route and video shows the reverse scenario. I planned a route where a road between 2 waypoints is closed. Obviously the planner finds a way around it. However when I open or navigate the route the closed road is ignored. Wat ik me afvraag is hoe die zoomcorrectie werkt. Uitleg op de support pagina is hetzelfde als in de app, kom je niet mee verder. Is het van hoe hoger het getal, des te meer ingezoomt wordt?

@Con-Hennekens Thank you for this hint. Maybe I'll give it a try. I have meanwhile arranged the necessary Navigation apps on the screen for an easy access. But as mentioned before I using now a Pixel 9 in connection with a Wunderlich USB Ladebox and Quad lock, which is just perfect for my needs. The Edge 40 will be used just in offline mode.

Yes, the route when opening can really be a surprise, no matter just go, if you want it more precise several WP are very helpful... but don't forget that driving is important, no matter what the route requires of you, drive on if you enjoy it at this moment
