@RainerT automatic tracking will only work of you start a route. A2B routes require tracking to be switched on by hand. In case of free riding it's the same, turn it on

Hai superg, Both mt mat and I use an Samsung Android. One of my other mates, Who did not update the app yet, does not have this issue.

Brian, thanks. I had a route loaded to navigate and could not get to that particular setting. Once I canceled navigation I was able to get to that setting as you described.

@Ian-James, map colors are limited indeed. But personally I find Dart Topographic pretty good concerning contrast. Could still be better though. I am hoping some day we will see a map-overlay feature so we can choose multiple sources of (visual) maps. I believe I have seen multiple comments on problems for the AOCI units. It might not be the most advisable unit right now. But you can open a support ticket and attach loggings. Maybe devs can isolate the problem. About the voice, that comes from your phone. You can choose from multiple voices and even multiple TTS packages (if there are more than one, which some Android devices have). On my own devices, I cannot say that anything sounds "robotic" at all.

It would be very interesting to also have weather forecasts along the route or a radar in the app. It would certainly offer advantages over other navigation apps to many users, both new and returning.

@Corjan-Meijerink if the map had a checker would that not indicate that the map was downloaded successfully?

@Alliston, to be honest, I think you are right. Updating maps is not a navigational function, and should be possible even with offline navigation enabled. The syncing of routes also continues with offline navigation enabled. I my view enabling offline navigation should be limited to navigational functions only.
