Yes, the route when opening can really be a surprise, no matter just go, if you want it more precise several WP are very helpful... but don't forget that driving is important, no matter what the route requires of you, drive on if you enjoy it at this moment

I agree It several time confused me that it was not clear that the other line was later. I sometimes plan "8" or e.g. when i want to visit certain spots (landmarks, historical sites, etc.) I have to reuse some section of the route several times, and the driving indicators are not always clear. You could e.g. gradient the color of the road, so that the next couple of meters look a bit differnt shade than the ones I will ride some time later.

@Alliston, That was an important omitted piece of information indeed Some updates will definitely be done on the CP and AA GUIs, but you probably know that restrictions forced by Apple and Google concerning safety and distraction are in place.

I usually add a single route at a time, for example a variant that I may have created to cut, or the possibility of not knowing in person, but only through Google maps, for example, the possibility that there may be closed roads, or that maybe they have been reopened and Google still gives them as closed etc etc... and having the possibility of being able to decide only with a glance, but also being able to keep the gpx track under the itinerary so that if the wrong road I notice it immediately! Anyway yes, they are doing a great job! I used tomtom first and then garmin, but for a couple of months I use MRA for all my outings, and I feel really good, yesterday my friends were surprised to be able to modify a route on the fly and find it immediately in the navigation app...

I think it is a great idea to have the waypoint icon in the app as well changing color when the targeted waypoint number exceeds the ones visible on the map. Not only in the list. Maybe decrease it's tint 70% or something?

Ik gebruik al geruime tijd de apparaten van Thork Racing (T865 - T665 - T865X) in combinatie met de RemotekOne-afstandsbediening, die perfect samenwerkt met MRA. De stroomvoorziening werkt op een knoopcelbatterij en de verbinding via Bluetooth is zeer stabiel, dus je hebt geen gedoe met kabels. Ik gebruik de RemotekOne op twee motorfietsen; je moet een kleine veiligheidsschroef losdraaien en dan kun je hem eenvoudig omsteken. Dat duurt maar een minuut. In tegenstelling tot veel andere afstandsbedieningen heeft de RemotekOne geen joystick, maar uitsluitend 6 knoppen voor alle functies, die ook met dikke handschoenen aan heel veilig te bedienen zijn. En bovendien is hij ook nog eens goedkoper dan de andere... Ik zou de RemotekOne altijd weer kopen. Vertaald met DeepL.com (gratis versie)

I confirm @JP-d third point with updating offline maps: it's nasty! If you have limited data space capacity and if you are doing often longer trips through several Countries - you will download only applicable regions (not whole countries). Truly, it's non-essential to update every week. But in preparation of the next journey (crossing different countries): it's tedious to find out, which regions are still downloaded, and and need to keep offline - or should be deleted (in case of limited capacity) - and other ones must be downloaded. Would be helpful to have a kind of "summary page" listing only the downloaded maps (with possibility to select and delete single items). it's not user friendly, in case of information about available update - if affected region(s) are not mentioned. After pushing the button "update", you have to wait a verry verry long time, for the update to finish! Ok, you can work with a "crowbar" and switch of Internet connection. This will stop the download. Then you can see in the ultra-long list of all countries/regions, which one shows the icon for not finished update. Then you can decide: remove this map, or keep it for update. Would be helpful to have a kind of "summary page" listing only the downloaded versus incomplete updated maps.
