While in offline mode and with the entire USA map downloaded you can not type in an address to search for or even use a saved favorite address. The app will say the route can't be calculated even though the entire map is downloaded? Does MRA require internet connection to calculate routes? It seems to have no problem doing this for a predefined route that was downloaded and opened.

@Edgar-Uhl no, this should work offline 🙂

So you did see search results / favorites? Only when adding them to the route it wouldn’t work?

Please share an example of what you were doing.
Did you have offline mode enabled?

          hi @Edgar-Uhl

i only ever use offline mode.
i do have favourites and use them daily, even tho i know the way it's more about testing the app.

when i click a favourite and the click start i always get the "cannot calculate route" pop up box, a click anywhere on the screen closes this pop up and the route calculates and loads.

i use an iPhone and also a rugged oukitel RT3 tablet on my bike, sam result on both.

to achieve, we must first attempt ✌️

@Edgar-Uhl I struggled a bit with the question. Offline navigation to a favorite is only possible if you choose the shortest route (green frame/arrow). For this, the Here map is used. Once you select one of the three scenic routes (red frame), the app switches to the OSM map, and you will need an active internet connection to calculate the route. Once the route is calculated, you could switch to offline mode. I have no idea what happens if you deviate from the route at a certain point. Would you need an active internet connection again? I have no idea! Is this your case?
