@M-Schrijver, Garmin gebruikt basis HERE kaarten, maar niet op hetzelfde platform en bovendien met zeer veel eigen aanvullingen die ze van elders halen. De ene HERE kaart is helaas de andere NIET 😉

A quick addendum.
I did a 60 mile route this morning, phone plugged in via cable but "offline navigation" NOT used.
The phone used 10% of available battery.
Looks like the cable solves MY issues 👍

@Mzokk Great, thanks for those steps. When you set the properties of the track, to see both at once, do you have to Start the track, then back out and start the route? I looked at the route, and when I first looked at it I could see what looked like the track on the outside of the route, I made the track the widest and color in red. But, when I zoomed in, I couldn't see the track anymore. But, I guess the good news is the track was the same as the route. No deviation.

@herko-ter-horst, Ze hoeven alleen maar te zorgen dat de bron van het kaartmateriaal voor de planner identiek is aan die van Navigation. Het is een taak van de gebruiker om zijn offline kaarten up to date te houden. Das eigenlijk geen verschil met welke andere dedicated nav-unit dan ook.

'Why' and 'what' aren't the same thing.
Jem knew what happened - but not why. That was my long-winded point. 🙂

If the router knows the original route is closed/jammed with traffic, then ideally it should let the user know and, even better, give a choice of what to do next.

It may be that HERE router doesn't give that information, but if it does it would be brilliant to see it.

I can imagine what you mean. But take my word. In a helmet the voice sound a lot easier to the ear than on a laptop. It is calm, no sharp tones, very clear to understand in noisey (wind) conditions.

The sharp tones in the default TTS engine of Android is for me the biggest problem.

Other benefit of the voice i made a sample of. It is louder than the default voices of Android.

Because it is louder it evens out (almost) the volume levels differences between... let say Spotify or online radio apps.

When i listen to online radio on a decent volume level with my prefered app. The volume of the MRA directions has a very low volume level. I almost cannot hear what the directions are.

This is not perse a MRA problem but inherent to the Google TTS Engine. Other navigation apps which use the Google TTS engine have the same problem.
So it would be nice if MRA could fix this also somehow

When using the checkbox to select multiple items in the personal library for an action <Move|Save as|Delete>, a pop-up will appear to activate that action.
On my iPad (7th gen), iPadOS 17.03 and on my MacBook (M1Pro) with MacOs Sonoma 14.0 in combination with Safari 17.0, the Pop-up flashes but disappears in a fraction of a second and cannot be used. I have set all settings in Safari for additional functions for Myrouteapp to "Allow". Without exception.
When using Firefox I do not have this issue. But I want to use Safari exclusively.

I use outdoor Garmins since decades for my Moto bike Tours. Having ViaPoints part of the route is one of the most important things for my routing. With export/import of the GPX 1.2 files and recalculation set to off in the Montana 700i, the Routing works fine but the ViaPoints are missing.
It surely seems to have something to do with the GPXX : Subclass Tags. It would be great, if ViaPoint support for Garmin Outdoor Devices could be implemented in MRA. Until then, I will stick with Basecamp, possibly running on a virtual machine with Windows 10 or 11 in the future.

To be honest, I don't have high hopes, that this will be proper supported in future, as most of the users here uses automotive devices like Zumo/Tread. And the roadmap seems to have more important features on it's list (which I can even understand..)
