@Guy-Manning Are you using MRA on a PC, or on a mobile device? If the latter, what kind?

@Martin-P-Williams I’ve not noticed the site being slower. The track line shown on the various maps just highlights the fact that each map is slightly different. This is due to the satellite data used when the maps are created. The Google car will drive a stretch of road one day and a few days latter the TomTom car will drive the same stretch and both will have slightly different data. The position and strength of signal from satellites is variable leading to discrepancies in the various maps. This can also affect our own GPS devices which is why we advice not placing route points too close to roundabouts, junctions or viaducts.

Icreate favourites (= personal points of interest) throughout the year using my own naming convention. These points are gathered reading magazines, books, tourisitc brochures and are thus noted as places to visit. All these favourites come in very handy when organising the next road trip. If I remember well, an extension to the current POI/favourites is foreseen on the MRA roadmap

@Mopetenpit Could be... but still... Groenewater could be repalced by a neutral placeholder until the correct location has been found.

@Reinhard-32 I tend to agree: forum speed is more or less the same but layout has changed for the worse. Menu is hard to read, letytertype seems to have changed and is more difficult to read.

I definitely think MRA is worth the price! Personally I got hold of lifetime membership as one of the pioneers, for an incredibly low price (don't remember exactly but I think it was 79,- or so). To be honest, I don't think I would go fo a lifetime at the current pricing. Even the special bid of 199 is 5 years the monthly fee. I think I would go for the "spread payment" instead of pay in one fee. (I hope I am not kicking into someones knee )

Oh yes, I may have been a bit too harsh in what I said earlier. I was under the impression that waypoints had to be skipped one by one, but as @Hans-van-de-Ven-MRA-Master pointed out, you can put the whole route into offline-mode through the toolkit. Then, if you are Gold member you can change to the TOPO map and with that you have a much better terrain view. I think it is pretty similar to Basecamp afterall.

@Nick-Carthew & @Con-Hennekens Thank you for your reaction Good tip to calculate --% extra. But, when I make a route of 3 to 4 weeks traveling every day, I prefer the software calculate for me. Every country in Europe has its own speed limit, in France the speed is 130 km/hr. The profit when you can use a camper preset, the software / navigation will select automaticly a route thats shorter or quicker than the “curve” of the highway (mostly payed). A camper preset is really ideal, just like the current preset of the bike or walking. Greetings, Saskia.

@Con-Hennekens Yes I agree totally that having the files split by days is a far better option but the OP did ask for a solution to “Merge” individual routes which is not currently possible but splitting the whole Multi Day route is. (and therefore possibly less work) Also agree on MRA Navigation use and the issues. I don’t generally use it but have ran some tests recently on my Samsung S10 5G. I haven’t had any issues with it so far but do see issues for iOS on my iPad but can’t test it on the road.

@Larry-Stenger That doesn't change anything - I have the same problem (iOS 14.6). The voice-guided navigation announcements are very slow. This is extremely cumbersome when driving. The integration of the language package is very poorly solved.

Just for the record, I don’t use Facebook either. I can see why organisations might put stuff on it, but there does seem to be a heavy dose of assumption attached to such actions. And you know what they say about assumptions!

This wouldn't be an issue if the App was stable, reliable and didn't reset the route numerous times during a ride. I will continue to use TomTom Go app until I can be confident that these issues have been fixed, fingers crossed that the new version of the MRA Navigation App is an improvement on the current build.

@Matt-Flaming I understand that, the reason I'm conservative with planned features is because I don't want to create the wrong expectations regarding the MRA Navigation timeline or an Android Auto timeline. I do think there might be a small misunderstanding here: all of the features (except of course Apple Carplay) are for both platforms. We also don't atlternate resources between development and "bug hunting". Instead they're paralel processes. Each week, at least 12 hours are dedicated to "accute" problems and bug squashing, like the issues you're experiencing in Android. Because, again, we'd rather have those criticisms here on the Community Forum where we can see them and do something about it, rather than in some hidden corner of the internet. To illustrate: your points helped us actively track down several issues, and raised awareness that while our app might be 96% crash free, that doesn't mean it's going to be useable for everyone. A navigation app stuck in demo mode is useless. There's no denying that. The recalculating route and demo-mode bug are now a top priority for the app development team.
