Hi Max, could you give some details on which device etc. you're doing this? This might be depending on the browser setting on your PC/mobile phone etc. On my PC this is no issue- however just checked it on the mobile phone (Android + Chrome) and there the gpx file is stored in "Downloads" without asking, although browser settings are "ask where to store files = active" Cheers, Sven

Let’s also not forget the other option of simply adding more Shaping Points to the Route.

@InvictaMoto-0 This is already possible. Choose a route to start with then open the routes section in the left side bar. Then click add and choose the route that you want to merge then click the +. You’ll then get a pop up box asking if you want to add the route to the beginning or end.

@Kudee The TET routes are generally a mix of routable roads and off-road tracks. I.e. Linking off-road tracks together via routable roads. I have no experience with OSMand so can’t comment on that. The TET tracks are freely available so in theory you could import them into OSMand and see what you get. The Garmin XT can handle off-road tracks but the Here maps can’t as far as I know.

@Steve-Lynch said in Slight route differences between Sat Nav devices: And if you are a bit OCD like me and don’t like seeing a Waypoint named “Waypoint” rather than the Road Name, then just move the waypoint a tiny bit (Zoom fully in) and it will pull in the Road name etc. I share your OCD pain

@Ric-Atkinson WebM is open source and free, MP4 requires paying a licence fee. WebM is a Google product which explains why it runs on chrome. I expect that many of the animations (many trials) are not recorded, hence it makes sense to work with an entirely free format and only move to MP4 requiring paying fees at user request. Maybe you could try downloading in WebM to your own computer, and then converting to MP4 on your computer; There are a number of such convertors available on the ent.

@Werner-19 I think the answers above already cover this but my tactic is to start each route at a starting point at some distance from my hotel (in your case this would be the first waypoint of the first road you really want to take; This allows the GPS to calculate the most efficient route from where your car/motorcycle is to that first point, highway or no highway. My last point is then really in front of the next hotel because that is where i must end up
