@Werner-19 I think the answers above already cover this but my tactic is to start each route at a starting point at some distance from my hotel (in your case this would be the first waypoint of the first road you really want to take; This allows the GPS to calculate the most efficient route from where your car/motorcycle is to that first point, highway or no highway. My last point is then really in front of the next hotel because that is where i must end up

Das geht nur als Gold member mittels Page Menue, Toolkit, Revers. Meine Menues sind auf englisch eingestellt. @Captain-Haddock That’s really helpful cheers. I’m going to have a play now doing a similar route…. Mainly non motorway to get down south, them motorways etc for the fast bit into portsmouth. I’ve now set my Garmin to allow motorways, so it will be interesting to see how it compares. Quick update ! I always use MRA Navigation in Offline mode. I tried to put it online and then return it to offline mode and now I have this icon back on my screen showing the distance of the next fuel station. But it looks like it is little different than before. I'm pretty sure that some times ago, it was always showing information about the next one in front of us on our route. Now (and it is like that Online or offline), I can see the distance to the next one, so it is decreasing until I get there. But, when there (0 Km remaining), I see it incresing considering that I'm getting away from it. So it is always showing the nearest one no matter if it is in front or back from us. As soon as the one in front of me is nearest than the one behind, it changes the distance according to that new one.

@franz-5! Hallo Franz, Du kannst das unbeabsichtigte Bearbeiten/Hinzufügen von Routenpunkten verhindern, indem du das Schlosssymbol in der Linken Menüleiste bemühst. Das Schloss kann durch Klick/Touch geöffnet und wieder geschlossen werden. Bei der Windows-Version ist das auch in der Routenübersicht möglich. @Kudee stimme dir zu! Peter

It is possible to insert a waypoint on iOS or Android but it is a bit “Hit and Miss”. You need to zoom in to the full extent of the black route line. I find that zooming back in every time you want to insert a waypoint even if the screen is fully zoomed in will help. Sometimes a purposefull double click on the route line will also work and automatically add the waypoint or give you a prompt to confirm if you have that setting on. Sometimes a long purposeful press on the route line will bring a pop up of the Icon and some other info, click the map, not the pop up, and when the pop up disappears the Insert icon will be there for you to click on the route line.
