You can harvest them off Open Street Map data using QGIS and the Quick OSM add in. Then export them to a GPX file using the QGIS POI exporter. This has to be manipulated as the field data for MyRoute POI's is limited to Long Lat and Field name. [image: 1773335673499-screenshot-2026-03-12-170504.png] Personally I load these POI's into my Garmin XT via Garmin POI loader with an audible proximity warning of 0.5 miles even though I predominantly use MyRoute app for navigation.

Het gaat wellicht wat te ver maar zag iets in het screenshot van @Hans-van-de-Ven-MR.MRA wat ik toch nog even wil verduidelijken. Wanneer je in MRA de route gaat vergelijken tussen de verschillende kaarten, krijg verschillen te zien (duidelijk zien in het screenshot). Deze verschillen komen door de routeringsalgoritmen (snel, kort, etc). Als je echter een route maakt op de Here of OSM kaart en je weet zeker dat de TomTom deze wegen ook kent en je stopt de track in een TomTom, zal de route identiek zijn de route in MRA. Bij het verwerken van een Track in een navigatie worden typische navigatiemodussen als, snel en kort niet meer gebruikt. En is de route dus identiek aan het origineel. Denk dat Spoor naar Reis in een Garmin hetzelfde doet, maar dat is voor mij alweer te lang geleden. Het vergelijken doe je dus om de kleine verschillen in kaartmateriaal te elimineren. Op een lange toeristische route van 300 km ofzo, ga je die verschillen echt wel tegenkomen.

@Guzzist Daarom gebruik ik top mijn motorrad wee schermen elkeen met NN, om zoveel mogelijk mijn handen op het stuur te houden : t.t.z. de Carpe iter voor het overzicht en een iPhone PRO MAX ( vanaf versie 12 ...) voor de details. Maar voor mijn voor 90% soft offroad of dirty roads gebruik ik eerder de Garmin XT2. ( een iPhone Pro Max rekent iets sneller dan de Carpe Iter. ) Uiteindelijk kan je ook 2x Navigation Next kopen : als je x 99 euro uitgeeft kost het je voor 4 schermen 1,67€ per maand over 10 jaar tijd. ( neen ik heb geen aandelen bij MyRouteApp bv )

Ik zeg ook niet dat een telefoon oud moet zijn. Oud staat niet voor niets tussen aanhalingstekens. Er zijn enorm veel mensen die hun telefoon bij hun contract hebben en daardoor na 2 jaar weer een nieuwe telefoon bij hun contract nemen. Dat zijn meestal dure telefoons die prima voor dit doeleind te gebruiken zijn. En dat is voor de meeste mensen toch hun oude telefoon.

@Con-Hennekens some devices has real mirror function like my carradio on android 6. it is good that you explain that mirror is something else as AA or CP. negative side of mirror is that you only mirror the screen and not the control on the screen.

@Kerry-Lebel ...your mentioned point "Mirador la Peña" serms a so called view point. You can use it by a click as route point if: on your screen left side, there is the list of waypoints - but you need to switch to list of POI (click on "Hamburger-Menue, right side of word "Waypoint" to select it) in the list of POI, you need to select the category "viewpoints" with a little luck, the "Mirador la Peña" is well known and an icon becomes visible in map (by zooming in!) you can click on this icon and select, if you want it entered as always visible POI - or/and as route point. Mostly the icon has the name as in the map shown (but you can override).

So I took the bike out today and tested out the new feature, and man does it deliver! Easy to use, and the route line is still bright and highly visible. I compared it against OnX Offroad, and I liked MRA better. I'm sure OnX has better features geared toward offroad riding, but for follow-the-line tracklogs, MRA nailed this one! Thank you so much!
