@John-S-Parry @Guzzist answered most of yoiur questions I think. In addition to that I want to say that the tablet was designed by/for a company that concentrates mostly on off road riding. It's used all over the world and a lot of users live in warm countries so therefore it's save to say that it will perfom as good as the XT/XT2 devices plus the advantage of beeing able to use MRA witch is ofcourse impossible on Garmin devices. Switching back to the original topic: in my search for an solution to replace my XT I did look carefully at the Carpuride like devices. In MY opinion the lack of using all the MRA features caused by restrictions from Aplle and Google I didn't think was going te be an option for ME. I wanted to use all of the features of MRA. On top of that using a screen copy device like Carpuride you still need to have your phone on and attached to a power sourche to be able to ride a compleet day. Since the T865X has a possibility tu use a simmcard in the device the phone doesn't have to be active. Have fun

@JP-d thanks - good to know . As I have said I think I have found the solution by supplementing the QL wireless option with a charger plugged into my 12v socket . It just means I have to monitor my phone usage and make choices at coffee stops . All part of the fun . I like MRA and use it all the time now .

Your first post in the forum. I’m guessing that you’re new to MyRoute-app so maybe you have made a mistake. I find that it is better to ask for help than it is to complain.

@Vikings-Bikers, Hello, I purchased a lifetime Gold subscription, and now it asks me for an upgrade fee of €90.75 , also my previously saved routes have disappeared. Can anyone give me an explanation? Thank you It is likely that you did not use the same account for your purchase as what you are using in the app. Another issue might be that you are trying to navigate a route, while the Navigation license is not included in your Gold planner license.

@Manzo91 I just set a point to navigate to. set the sound to silence and then the navigation works and the maps are visible. The only thing is you keep seeing the navigation line to that point.

@Guzzist Opentopomap and cycle map are just openstreetmap with another style. MRA is great at making routes, but lacks a lot of tools a a cyclist uses, for example a elevation profile when making routes. Not to metion hartrate, cadence and other data a cyclist wants to use.

Good tip, with the Silverfox controller. Unfortunately, when driving off-road - or when using the roadbook - some remote controllers are not suitable for operating the buttons well. Driving there is too rough, too bumpy - if a switch cannot be reliably operated with the thumb, this leads to unwanted reactions on the screen. That's more than annoying - it's very very bad and time consuming! In worst case, if you focus to long on the screen, you may crash! The Remote-2 from DMD is best suited with the arrangement of the buttons. We are therefore eagerly awaiting integration into the MyRoute app.

I agree completely. It's one of the very, very few features that Kurviger has that's demonstrably better than MRA.

@BFG not sure how that would work if riders used MRA Navigation to direct them to the meeting point ... ie VP1

@toni-ccc said in voertuig auto of motor: but when I choose "motorcycle" as a vehicle instead of "car" that route is an hour shorter That's probably because on the Motorcycle you can filter through traffic so you arrive 1 hour earlier than in a car. I plan according to miles. Just keep in mind 200 miles on motorway is way shorter than 200 miles on twisty roads. With time you can gauge how many miles takes how long depending on the route, also going through cities will add a lot of time. Ride safe

@Con-Hennekens There is no doubt about it when I speak to fellow riders about MyRoute app and how it all works, they suddenly have a confused look on their face. I suspect that with the benefit of hindsight the creators would name the Planner/App/Navigation components differently if they were starting over again. I too have made made similar mistakes with the naming and have been corrected like I'm an imbecile. Admins, please don't take your frustrations out on your users.
