My only comment would be that you might want to try the app with an otherwise redundant phone. I use it with an old Motorola G7 on Android 10. I did a Factory reset on that phone and only run Navigation apps on it. Google maps for point to point. OSMand+ for offroad navigation and Myroute app for motorcycle road navigation and it works fine. My Honda and my car both have dedicated GPS receivers built into the Android Auto head unit I believe that this is not the case for the Carpuride which means the phone has to do additional work locating the device in relation to the app. But at least if you give another phone a try you might be able to narrow down the issue to the app, phone, connection to the Carpuride or GPS signal. I don't know?? but those would be the type of issues I'd be trying to eliminate.

Hallo peha, Danke für Deinen Hinweis. Ich habe gestern im Auto probiert. Die Akku-Optimierung war bei mir nicht eingeschaltet. Aber ich habe die Verwendung von Standort von "nur bei App Nutzung" auf "Immer" geschaltet. Die Meldung wegen dem Display hatte ich auch gestern im Auto, aber die App ist nicht eingefroren. Ich beobachte weiter.

You have to install OpenMTP (Android File Transfer is no longer available) on your mac if you want to send a file to the XT. Remember that due to the MTP protocol, only 1 program can communicate with the XT. So make sure that everything in Garmin Expres settings is dissabled.

@AWDC-LAO The same thing happened to me some time ago, I opened a ticket and the support guys recovered all the missing waypoints, but I've never used OSM but only HERE

Walther. De kaartproblemem zijn opgelost. Alles werkt weer zoals het hoort. Ik heb vandaag weer een fietsroute gereden. Die startte op de foute manier. Maar rond 12 uur lag de route weer geprojecteerd op de uitgezette fietspaden. Dus ik zou zeggen probeer het maar uit. Groeten, Baltus.

Bedankt Michel, ik wacht even af welk antwoord je krijgt van carpe iter. Eind augustus gaan we een rit doen naar polen dan haal ik de sim er uit om dit te voor komen.

Vandaag een route gereden, oorspronkelijk met vermijden van autosnelwegen. Op een gegeven moment heb ik toch een stukje autosnelweg genomen. Het systeem blijft maar zeggen dat er een routeovertrededing is totdat ik de snelweg weer verlaat. Zoals hierboven gezegd: ik vind het logisch en prima dat het systeem de melding geeft, maar het reageert niet als ik de melding wil wegklikken. Graag een reactie, ik wacht al zolang.

Update: het knipperen is nog niet weg, maar navigeren met een route lijkt wel beter te gaan. Ik plan de routes in Kurviger en sla deze dan op als track (spoor). Vervolgens importeert ik deze track in MRA en navigeer dan offline met deze track. En dat gaf dus gedoe. Maar afgelopen weekend een track geïmporteerd en in MRA omgezet naar route. En dan op die route (opnieuw) offline genavigeerd. En het knipperen gebeurde slechts één keer .... (ja, count your blessing).
