I had the same issue, then realised the voice needs to be speaking to turn up the volume, otherwise I was just turning up the ringer volume in my iPhone. I went into settings-audio and clicked between medium and loud volume setting to then enable the voice which allowed me to turn him up!!

I went out today to check on a couple of roads on a new route. I started from home and told MRA to take me to at WP# 5 rather than the start of the route. Once on the route the app decided to skip WP5 several kms before I got there. It then decided to skip WP6 about 8 kms before I got to it. I told it to revert to WP6. As far as I know no other WPs were skipped. I noticed a few times when a voice prompt was missed or cut short. I'm wondering if it's caused by a conflict in the phone from other app alerts overriding the Nav instructions.

@Colin-Hodgkinson In editing mode with a route open is the only way to access Google Streetview. [image: 1688827358180-img_2148.jpeg]

@Greenham said in Won't route round trip: Yet when I go to start the route it ENDS at the furthest point in the loop. There is no routing back home. Isn't that completely logical? If you've reached the end of the route and that endpoint is not your home address, then you'll have to initiate a new navigation action. Or am I not understanding your question?

@Fred-Gilbert turn-by-turn Navigation won’t work for cycling because t-b-t is based on the Here-map and you created it as a cycling tour. And Here don’t offer al the cycling paths. When you’ve created a cycling tour you can just follow the line on the OSM map.

On my ride yesterday the navigation worked very well except a couple times late in the ride the voice instructions were cut off too short to know what was said. In one case a few moments later a second voice instruction came through clear. No waypoint involved and was not using my intercom or playing music.

@Fred-Gilbert said in Sluggish: Could haze from Canada fires slowing GPS? It can potentially affect accuracy a little, but not the speed the signal is received: https://whichsatnav.com/does-smoke-affect-gps-signal As Jack says, minimising the delay is 'work in progress'. My experience is that the delay is just rendering the current position arrow, but everything else (distance to next junction, etc) is accurate. I have grown used to it over the past 3,000 miles. Very occasionally I get caught out on the odd junction if I don't examine it carefully, but it's much rarer than I feared from my early observations/practice runs.

@Nigel-Bilton Being a gold user for both your planner and mobile app, I was really hoping it was money well spent!! Don't worry, your money is definitely well spent. But the Apple Carplay and/or Android Auto component still needs further development. And the team is working hard on that at the moment.

Geinig dat het ook in de app kan voorkomen. In CP wel eens wat vaker gezien maar op de telefoon nog niet eerder dat ik me kan herinneren. Geen idee wat de oorzaak is

As I understand from the webinar of today, there will be a software update for the Android Auto issues in 3 weeks. I really hope this will solve our issues.

@Berrie-Roelofs-0 my old S7 running Android 8 also just gives a screeching noise in place of spoken instructions. Have not bothered to try it on recent versions. I purchased a newer S20 online referbed phone. Cheap and works great.

@Gordon-Lawson, DON'T! It wille effectively kill the auto-skip function. (and it is a lot of work too...) If you don't want auto-skip, just disable it in the settings (functional).

@Dirk-Verstraelen-TenWheels I also find this a problem and have just posted on the forum about it. I use the expand function to place the shaping points automatically and then usually just make sure they are on the road etc. now I’m going to have to move them all if I want to see actual route instruction in advance. I like to know if the next turn is 3km or 150km and the likelihood of not having a shaping point before 150km etc is low, so in current set up you can’t see the future instruction.
