Saving shared route

How do you save a route that has been shared to you via a link?
When you click on the route you get the option to Edit, Download, open route or navigate
How do you save this to your own routes?

The owner, who shares a route via link to you, must keep his route in state "public"! Just then send the link.
-
If you have opened the route via received link, in MRA-Routeplanner - select in menu "+ Use route". This copies the route into your folder.
-
If the route is now in your folder, you can do everything: open, edit, save as...
-
If you also have MyRoute-App, and have synched this (or all routes) with MRA-Routeplanner, then you can simply open this route in MyRoute-App to navigate with.

@Guzzist thanks for the reply
But that is for when you open it on the Web
I need to be able to be sent a link and open it in the app and save it to my routes from there
Especially when out and about and away from a pc
Thanks

@stuart-marritt
Tap the edit button this takes you to the route planner, then tap Menu and then tap Route information. Change the title of the route, just a small change is required and then tap the X to close the Route information section. Tap Menu again and you should now see a Save option, tap Save, close the Route planner and the route will be in your library. -
@stuart-marritt in the app you select:
- select hamburger menu left topside
- routes and tracklogs
- select three point top right side
- select sync all routes
Now you`re routes will be synchronized from web to app and back.

Stusorry, we don't understand completely.
Who will generate a link of a route and how he will sent it?
Who will receive a link of a route and will do what with it?- If someone is sending a route or track as gpx-file - my by mail - then you need to store this gpx-file on your smartphone.
- by file browser, select this gpx-file and select "open by" - here select MyRoute-App.
- you will be asked, if you want to store this file online in your MRA-Account. Select "Yes".
- now you can navigate by this route or track. If you close navigation, you can find this route or track also in main menue -> routes / tracklogs and may open it again.
...............................
- If someone is sending a route or track as link - may by mail or by chat - then check the link:
- is it a link to a cloud storage, then you can download the gpx-file. Next steps see above -> open by
- is it a web link like: https://www.myrouteapp.com/en/social/route/xxxxx?mode=share
then you can tap this link at your smartphone, usually, this will open your standard browser and will show the route or track in MRA-Routeplanner - there you can download it and store locally. Next steps see above -> open by
- alternatively, you don't need to download out of MRA-Routeplanner to local store. In MRA-Routeplanner, there is also the menue option "+use as route". This will copy this route into your folder in MRA-Account.
... if you have switched on, function "sync all" -> in MyRoute-App / main menue / 3-dot menue (top right corner) - this route is paralle to MRA-Routeplanner also in MyRoute-App available.
It's not complicated! Try it at home until you are familiar with, Then you will not fall in troulble during your journey.

@Guzzist Someone has shared a route with me via the share option which produces a link to the route in his account
I want to save that route directly to my account so I have a copy
This is all done on mobile phone and not on a pc/laptop
Sync all is turned on already
All I want to do is easily save a route that has been shared with me by a link while using my mobile phone

@stuart-marritt ok - then it's the steps I described in second sektion. You can do this at your phone
