Gebruik je mogelijk een VPN? We hebben in het verleden gezien dat sommige gebruikers om die reden niet met de HERE servers kunnen verbinden.
@Corjan-Meijerink nee ik gebruik geen vpn. Frappant is echter dat het gewerkt heeft en nu sinds enkele weken de foutmelding

Kun je het moment nog herinneren torn het nog werkte en weet je of er (en wat) iets verandert is op jouw smartphone? Denk dan aan een applicatie (ook Nexy) of een ander update. Iets vreemds gezien bij het gebruik van een internetpagina?
Maakt niet uit wat en/of het iets met MRA te maken heeft? -

Mijn toestel heeft geen mogelijkheid tot een SD kaart. Maar zo ver komt het niet eens. Ik krijg al een foutmelding voordat ik überhaupt een kaart kan kiezen.

Ik heb sterk de indruk dat deze twee topics hetzelfde issue beschrijven en dat de twee melders in beiden actief zijn. Dat helpt niet bij de analyse en het mogelijke advies.
Is het een idee dat een moderator deze topics samenvoegt?I have the strong impression that these two topics describe the same issue and that the two reporters are active in both. That does not help with the analysis and possible advice.
Would it be an idea for a moderator to merge these topics? -

I get an error when I try to download offline maps. I think this is part of the problem.
@Coenox to get the maps down liared, did you tty going into the app settings and deleting the data files?

I am very interested to see some footage, either a screen recording or some pictures of the happening and the resulting error messages.
I am just an enthusiastic MRA user, and hope you will be one too!

@Coenox, Thank you. Does it also do that when you disable wifi and activate the cellphone data network? The reason for it to work when you start a walk or bicycle route, must lay in the fact that there is no Turn-by-Turn assistance based on the Here maps. I am thinking a defective SD card, or corrupted offline maps, but it is a strange case indeed.
If you empty storage or the app through the Android system - Apps menu (effectively deleting all offline maps) does it do the same immediately after trying to download offline maps?

Disabled WiFi: same result
SD card: my Samsung S23 ultra does not have a slot, 'only' 512 Gb internal storage
Empty app cache and storage: same result
Corrupted offline maps: there are no offline maps since I can't download them -

Yes, held! Dat was het. Duckduck go verwijderd en nu werkt het. Daar was ik zelf nooit achter gekomen. Wel vervelend, want ik gebruik het graag. Maar heel veel dank!

Nog een toevoeging: nadat het werkte, heb ik DuckDuckGo geherinstalleerd. Navigatie blijft nu werken. Het lijkt dus vooral de initiële activatie van HERE te zijn.
En ik ben benieuwd of het bij Theo hetzelfde probleem was.

@Theo-Knarren is een heel goede tip. Ik had echter geen DuckDuckGo op mijn telefoon. Heb vervolgens de app DuckDuckGo geïnstalleerd. Kon daarna in MRA off line kaarten installeren, hetgeen voorheen niet mogelijk was. Maar bovenal het belangrijkste MRA navigatie WERKT zoals het moet.
