Ik heb met veel belangstelling jouw verhaal gelezen en stel vast dat 90% van onze instellingen gelijklopend zijn. Ook onze hardware setting is nagenoeg identiek.
Wat ik meeneem zijn jouw tips m.b.t. de scherminstellingen (hoewel ik weinig batterij problemen ervaar) en m.b.t. het offline navigeren van gemaakte routes en het online navigeren van A naar B. Dit is verhelderend en klinkt logisch.
Ikzelf ben een tevreden gebruiker. Niet omdat ik per se tevreden wil zijn, maar gewoon omdat ik het ben. Ik verkocht niet voor niks zeer recent mijn TomTom.
Pluim aan jou en aan het voltallige team!

@Michel-van-Hagen-MRA-Founder misschien nog een ietsโฆ je schreef dat de batterijbesparing vanzelf uitging of mss het toch aan jou lag omdat je er tegenaan tikte, maar weet dat batterijbesparing automatisch uitgeschakeld wordt wnn het toestel opgeladen wordt en boven de 80% komt. Dan moet je deze opnieuw manueel inschakelen zeg maarโฆ mss was het dat.

@Bart-DM O, dat zou kunnen, maar later was mijn batterij spanning 100% en bleef energiebesparingsmodus wel aangevinkt. Misschien als je hem meerdere keren aanvinkt blijft het wel staan.

Beetje eenzijdig Iphone en MRAroute verhaal.
ik gebruik android en een Track, Problemen te over. Wat ook goed te zien is in deze duurtest is de enorme wirwar aan instellingen, Kan veel simpeler IMHO gooi de bezem er maar door heen.
@smuiger dit ganse verhaal gaat inderdaad over MRA, vind ik redelijk normaal op een MRA site en een test over een Mra app. Verder, zpals met ieder toestel of software moet je die gebruiken zoals het bedoelt is om gebruikt te worden. Vasthouden aan een methode van werken die misschien niet compatibel is met mra is waarschijnlijk niet de beste aanpak

I place an extra waypoint a few hundred meters before the waypoint where you want the title and description to be read.
is completely unnecessary. T2S is read 750mtrs before you reach the waypoint, and even 2km in advance if you are on a highway. Long enough in advance to not need that extra WP.

When TTS enabled:
- Viapoints are announced 2km before reaching it
- Shapingpoints are announced 750m before reaching it
Do note: only the upcoming waypoint may be announced.
This means that if you have a via point with a nice description and a waypoint 500m before that, the viapoint will only be announced 500m before, immediately after passing the then previous waypoint -

Interesting report. Thank you very much for the advice.
I love MRA, both the planner and the navigator. However, as you show in your report, the browser is still far from being an effective tool. Too many user adaptations to the limitations of the application. Far from devices like TomTom that allow you to completely ignore the route and enjoy the motorcycle trip.
I hope and pray that these problems will be resolved. All my thanks to the team that is making all this possible. Vsss.
