Navigation stopped working during Tour

This problem happened to me several times with the old version and CarPlay if I remember correctly, tomorrow I'll take a look at the new version of the app and CarPlay, let's see how it behaves...iPhone 16 plus

Today tested again in the Alps. The app is for me unusable. Many issues. App stopped working. Closing the app and trying to continue route no help. It has been freezing directly after restart. Currently no use for me. Disappointed at this moment of time.

Can not understand Thomas. I used the latest version for a trip to Croatia and had zero problems.

Do you have the track log on or off? I've got it off and no problem's on mine Android with the new version.

It's an Ulefone Rugking pro. No track log. I start soon a 250 km tour with 25 waypoints. I will report. And this time I start in offline mode.

Unfortunately the navigation stopped again after 3 hours

App worked perfectly on today's ride, much better that last week when it was stopping all the time so hopefully it's fixed for me.

@Thomas-Neumeyer, did you send the crash log, or a app embedded log file through a support ticket? The first option does not hold much information I am afraid.

Hello Con, yes I sent the log file. Today the same issue. Navigation was perfect for three hours and then it stopped. Restart was possible but map was frozen. Without another app I would have been in trouble. Yesterday I put tablet to factory settings and installed the app new. No joy.

@Thomas-Neumeyer, Even when it freezes like you experienced, instead of using another app you can also just restart the MRA app, is it not?

I did this many times. App starts but map ist not moving. And I can not stop every hundert meters and restart again and hope that it works. I really love the App but at the moment I dont use it.

Did a 400 km ride today, App worked without any problem.

That’s great to hear Peter. I have to report that not a single day the app was working without freezing. Nothing helped, no factory reset of the tablet and fresh installation. I can not use it anymore. Maybe it’s just on the Ulefone. I try Samsung when I am at home.

During my two-days tour it was working as expected with the updated v5.1.

@Thomas-Neumeyer On a Spanish BMW forum, there is another member with problems with Ulefone and MRA.

What does it says in the forum? I really love the app and I don't want to give it up. It's just always the same after several hours. Tab is also not hot or something. I can perfectly continue with maps, osmand and dmd2 (which is not made for touring). Thomas
