@Armin-Philipp Same here in Norway, tunnels can be long. But it recovers after exiting the tunnel. TomTom assumes that you drive at the same speed and updates the navigation accordingly. Would be nice to have this too.

Als je een route inlaad in een andere navigatie of planner, ben afhankelijk hoeveel waar de routepunten geplaatst zijn. Bij een route bepaald de navigatie of de routesoftware zelf hoe de route tussen 2 routepunten zal gaan lopen. Hierdoor is het gebruikelijk dat de routes niet identiek zullen zijn. Wanneer je een track inlaad is dit probleem een heel stuk kleiner. Je bent dan nog steeds afhankelijk van je navigatie of routesoftware. Maar deze wordt veel meer gedwongen om de oorspronkelijke route te volgen.

@Wilco-Jansen, if you navigate without Carplay (you can test that by removing your phone from the carplay device, not by just enabling the phone screen), so natively in the app, does it do the same thing? If all goes well by navigating on the phone natively, there must be a discrepancy in the GPS data the Carplay device gives out. You can test that by disabling location permissions for the carplay app on your phone. I don't know hoever how to do that on an iOS device. The MRA app falls back to the phone's GPS signal if it can't get one from the carplay device.

@Con-Hennekens perhaps. I'm surprised this hasn't come up before. I got really frustrated and just went the long way to manually find my routes. But sometimes you can't remember where you put a route but you remember it was in (Scotland) so you search for Scotland and get all your routes with the word Scotland in them. Hopefully we'll get a reply from @Corjan-Meijerink about this as 95% of my routes are set to Private.

@Con-Hennekens I know it isn't the usual usecase. However the app is and I hope remains an app which can be used by cyclists, car and bus drivers. I would think that most of them will struggle with the standard route navigation behaviour on the highway and shaping points slightly of the highway. If I decide to ignore an instruction to leave the highway I already have decided to skip the point. The need to interact or having to ignore several instructions thereafter is too much of a pain. Luckily the navigate as track solved this problem.

I'll make some minor changes for the release!

@Leike-Lodiers that is indeed correct! These maps are not available offline, only the one you use while navigating Long story short, it's a major technical constraint and we are working on an update that overhauls the entire start screen ensuring that is also available offline

My default view is the whole of Europe. Given a choice, I'd rather trust MRA with my position than Google. MRA aren't passing on my personal information, Google is. Maybe MRA could store the last view used, or allow the user to set the default centre point for new maps.

Sorry for replying in English. Curvy routes are calculated externally. HERE cannot do this, do we do this ourselves. That's why we need internet If you are offline while navigating a calculated scenic route we cannot completely recalculated the track so we approximate it.
