    For me it is just the opposite. MRA Next is my back up. Never needed it so far. I always optimize any route in the web version before I export the gpx1.1 and import it into BC and optimize it again before sending it to he XT through Drive or directly via cable (which I prefer). Even then, as the algorithmes of the gps and the web version are not the same, recalculation in the gps may come with some surprises. But having the BC track always visible one can interprete the directions properly.

    @Kobutex-Motorreizen Can you explain how I can get my routes to my Zumo XT using a cable? I'm leaving this Saturday and have all my routes on my phone, but like to have them on the garmin too. Especially if it's raining. How do I do it? Thanks very much for your help. Mike

    Hi ! So, the bad news is that Transfagarasan is still closed for now, but it should be opened in the next two weeks. You can check the live cam from time to time: https://www.roxy-world.ro/webcam-transfagarasan Good news is that Transalpina was opened about 5 days ago, some of my friends went there already and confirmed this.
