Dat werkt alleen in de planner, niet in de navigatie-app (tenzij je route-als-track rijdt). De reden hiervoor (nog maar eens) is dat een overtocht met een veerpont op inlandse wateren door HERE wordt geïnterpreteerd als een oversteek van een half uur. Is er een omweg van minder dan een half uur, dan zal die dus gekozen worden door het HERE algoritme. Als je plant met kortste route ingesteld, dan heb je hier om diezelfde reden ook geen last van.

I agree with Peter here. Software should not change a user selection without asking. I dont think that tomtom and google do that either. When you select one route in favour of another there can be many reasons why you select that one , even if you have fastest selected. Being presented a new/faster way is great but using it without asking must be a bug. It definitely destroys the trust in the app.

...for example, I can't understand if land areas are in color of grey pattern - why city names are in grey font color too? Why not in black to get more contrast?

Zijn er meer mensen die, na het verzamelen van diverse routes (hetzij via websites, hetzij via de bibliotheek van MRA, hetzij verkrijgen via vrienden) hun eigen verzameling opschonen? Ik merk de laatste paar weken dat ik best veel routes weggooi omdat: teveel/te vaak al gereden teveel overlap met andere routes (bv ik heb diverse routes die veelal ook door het Groene Hart of Krimpenerwaard gaan) routes komen saai over (bv teveel N-wegen)

I have been very busy making the app more usable and implemented much feedback from the early users. Changes of the past 10 or so days are: Phone optimizations: The app can show your position on the map, making the app handy for searching accommodations during your trip! (you are asked for location permissions of they are not enabled). Added a visor button that "flies" to your location to show accommodations in your vicinity. The menu collapses into a hamburger menu on small screens (also small PC screens) and shows a nice slide-in menu panel if clicked. The mobile experience has been further enhanced by detaching submit and donation pages into separate ones. The main page now focuses on the search filter and map. The page was simply too long for usage on small screens. A "Navigate to" button has been placed on the accommodation details page. On PC it loads Google maps, on Android and iOS you can choose your navigation app of preference. Overall: The search on keywords is expanded with the names of important areas and natural parcs. If you search on "Eifel", know area names with "Eifel" in the name are presented in a drop down box. If you click one, OSM is queried for a bounding box around that area, and all accommodations with coördinates within that box are filtered. This way owners do not need to maintain this parameter. Addition of accommodation type "Holiday Rental" Option for anonymous submitting (without email address, nickname still for you to make up ) The submit form is enhanced to accept Google Maps coordinate pairs in one field, just in case auto geolocation does not work. Added a separate tab on the "How-it-works" page, to clarify some options We added diverse sharing options for social media. On Android and iOS the system share drawer can be used for sharing through whatever app you use. A new amenity tag is introduced: "Biker specialized". This one is hidden on the filter page, but a 3-way toggle is introduced. All = yeah... all...! Biker Special = only accommodations targeted specifically at bikers, and "Mixed Clientele", if you are looking for a biker friendly accommodation, but rather not one that advertises explicitly as such (not all riders fancy large groups of bikers). I am especially proud of the way the web-application handles phone screens now, which was not even a thought when I started this platform! Okay, I just created the test routes in the new app version V5.0.1-438. Maybe the web planner = the route lab that works better

I changed and have ad some route in Hungary, i have contact with the route expert in Hungary to ad some new routes. If you can drive in Hungary you can drive everywere .

Derzeit werden die höheren Alpenübergänge noch geschlossen sein.

@Lynchy67 It is on the list for major maintenance of the website, just like being able to export multiple routes in one go. Please be patient.
