You are using 2 devices as intended and sometimes a third.
When using the third you will be asked to unlist one of the other active devices which is a very smooth action with no impact at all.

Also when one of these 3 devices is completely offline?

@Peter-Zehentreiter At one point you will be online and that's the point where we know what devices you used. In theory if you would never use internet we indeed cannot track the device

As long as you don’t restrict the app to a single device, it sounds perfect.
The reason is that some of us take two phones on longer trips as a backup, in case the main phone gets stolen, damaged, or lost.
Other than that, I’m looking forward to version 5.1.

2 is totally allowed
3 is with the required unlisting of another device (very smooth experience)
4 results in an issue
