German is OK. [image: 1723064113059-295bfdbc-df1f-4f0b-b39e-91596d29103e-image.png] When I switch language to Netherlands, it looks also OK. [image: 1723064009840-ccbee048-2f4d-4bb8-aede-751d7beadb09-image.png] But when I switch to English, I have a mixture of German and English. @Corjan-Meijerink Ah, that's a shame. Here's some UI for when HERE (?) streamline their API : no need for route type selector - it's a scenic route add a 'roundtrip' checkbox show/hide destination input depending on the checkbox A-B route: [image: 1722937375027-a-b-trip75.png] And when the checkbox is ticked to say roundtrip: [image: 1722937382974-roundtrip75.png]

@Craig-Nelson Ofcourse you can pick a route from the library and modify it according to your wishes. When adding a waypoint, you can drag and drop that waypoint to the road you want to drive on. And doing so, you must add or remove waypoints to change the route the way you like and avoid "strange and weird" reroutes. It's much easier to start a new route and then, after selecting your startpoint, select the roads to want to drive on by adding waypoints on those roads. This will give you much more freedom to create your own routes instead of what i suggested above, editing a route from the library. When creating your own route, you can add stop points for a break, lunch, nice views, etc. All routes created in MRA are saved automatically into your own personal library to be found under your profile. If you have the Garmin Zumo XT, you can use the Garmin Drive app on your mobile phone to transfer your routes onto youir XT or you can save the route to your computer, connect your XT to the computer and transfer the files directly onto your XT.

I would also find a default setting for this very helpful. Both on the web and in the app. Which is automatically applied to every new route. Also when importing a route. An important feature for me!

@Corjan-Meijerink @Corjan-Meijerink said in Offline kaarten makkelijk kiezen via een kaart: Yes, users can find it themselves. No, not ideal I think it is a marvellous suggestion. Did we think of this? Yes! Is it easy to implement? No! Do we want it in the future? Yes! Is it the current priority? No! Just download it all for now, make life easy :). Maybe there is an easy work around … On top of the list present a map with the names of regions … (If names are too long … numbers on the map will do fine to Just one map to display, one can immediately see which regions are needed. A simple picture explains 1000 times better than an list …

Hi @Thomas-Schäfer I also use the overlay routes & my process is very similar to yours a big frustration I have with this process is that the overlay routes I have carefully added are lost when I click away, it is a long proces to keep adding & re-adding the same routes it would be nice if there was a selection like in the new POI menu where you could select the overlay to be remembered & this selection was stored with the route

@Brian-McG no problem, thanks for the answer anyway. I don't have any practical reason to don't use active navigation, I'm just used to use the passive one while riding. It's a kind of mixture between the paper map and the active navigation. Attaching the track the road and then create a route or a new track in OsmAnd is possible. This is what I do for short tracks, about two or three days. Unfortunately it doesn't work for long tracks (sometimes it cuts the track in half or it doesn't find a solution at all). The workaround I found is to split the route in segment of approx 1,500 km, export them to TomTom planner, recreate the route and export the GPX that has way more points than the MRA exporter.

@Brian-McG said in adding route to an event and back: in that scenario where I wanted to modify a route in my library but keep it the same in the event or group, would it not be easier just to create a new copy of the route in my library? To be honest, I think not In your route library there is no clear indication of your route being part of an event. So an error is made easy.

@Bobisz If you are referring to the cursor in the website, you can change this in the settings of your Windows PC or laptop. I’m not sure about Mac computers.

@Nick-Carthew Thxs. Sounds great yet I know of only one way of importing these routes. How do I import it as track log? <Sorry, found it> But now that I have the tracklog, how do I make a route of that? When I try to import the GPX (1.1) file I get an error saying that the file doesn't contain any waypoints. <Sorry, found it. Okay, got that fixed as well. Import as track. And from there edit as route. Done. > I do it this way on the forum so other people, with the same issue, might have use of this. Thxs.
