@Con-Hennekens ben enorm blij met je hulp hoor vandaag!! De 5 minuten gaan natuurlijk nergens over 🙂 en zonder oplossing had ik het absoluut ook overleefd. Dat geldt voor de meeste bugs/problemen binnen het forum gelukkig 🙂 Desalniettemin hebben we toch een aantal interessante ontdekkingen gedaan. Blijkt dat Apple kennelijk iets met de regel doet, waardoor er uit het niets een spatie wordt toegevoegd en dat dit op te lossen is door het wissen van de hele regel en te vervangen door bijvoorbeeld 00:35 👍👍 Wie weet waar dit goed voor is… 👊

Thanks for your reply. I have used that solution for small trips. But for larger ones (20 days) it's painfull. 🙂

4/ Het pagina-menu zoals jij dat omschrijft ziet er alleen zo uit op apparaten met een lage resolutie en mobiele apparaten. Tevens afhankelijk van de zoomfactor in je browser. Door daarmee te spelen kun je ook het menu in een balk terug zien, zoals gebruikelijk op een PC scherm.

@Lex-Metzke zet je dan bij het uitzetten van de route gelijk in de toolkit het "vergelijken" met de biede opties OSM en Tom Tom aan dan zie je drie routes die op punten waar ze afwijken met wat extra vormpunten bij elkaar moten worden gebracht. Heb je altijd voor iedereen bijna de perfecte route op OSM, HERE en Tom Tom.

@Gerard-Wullink note Navigators 4/5/6, XT/XT2 work fine using the Save as method. Just the Zumo 3/5 fails.

@Martin-Wilcke I browsed the forum to see if others already suggested enabling a more natural way in MRA for planning multiday trips. You suggestion comes close to my wish:

I create a new folder and would like it to contain the POI's and routes for a series of days. I first want to enter all overnight stays as POI's, so I can use them as endpoint for a day trip and use it again as a starting point the next day.
A workaround is to define all trip POI's as Favourites but this means various multiday trips share alle POI's, unless you remove them from the list again afterwards.

I read here that new POI functionality is coming. My suggestion is enable POI's for a series of routes to be put in a folder just like the routes itself.

Some improvements regarding this are currently being deployed! 🙂

@Con-Hennekens I find Furkot almost perfect for serious multi-day trip planning.
Obviously (I didn't mention it) the nightly stay can be fixed (it's a "special" waypoint). Furkot will end the day in that place and resume the plan from there in the next day.
What's really very nice with this is that you can very quickly make a plan based on available days (which we know is the scarcest resource! 🙄) considering the avg speed based on the planned road type and even your preferences (you can set your avg speed will be a certain percent - like 80% - of the calculated one).

I like the idea.
But it is not new.

Diese Daten sind doch in der GPX Datei enthalten und lassen sich mit einem Editor ansehen.

@Nomko-Nomden Second question, Beeline do not seem to have a forum, you can only raise a case for help. Seeing I have been a Gold member with MRA since it was available, so I thought I would ask on here, as I am using MRA for my routes and also passing them to various Garmin devices.

Now this is the bit I am struggling with or it might be my understanding. I understand a track doesn't have waypoints and it only becomes a route once the device has calculated the route.

So when I put waypoints into MRA and then export the gpx with 1.1 or 1.2 into my XT, once it is loaded, the device calculates the route and the waypoints are shown.

When I export the gpx with the same waypoints and load into Beeline, there is only one option, to import, you can import a route or import in compass mode, the route comes in fine, but no Waypoints are shown. That is it, even if you then use the route, no waypoints show up, so they are not being imported or not recognised. If you import compass mode, then there are various waypoints, but the route is basically straight lines to each waypoint.

I have also tried importing from google maps (beeline uses google maps) and Calimoto, same results, so my thoughts are, it doesn't work as they claim. I will wait to see of Beeline come back. Thanks for your help

@Lynchy67 I have come to the same conclusion, although they advertise you can import a route with waypoints and the support guy who I have sent the gpx too, seemed surprised it didn't work and only imported a track. This is not a big issue for me, track is ok.

Dat is in het verleden altijd goed gegaan, het systeem zet het in de juiste extensie, maar op dit moment lukt het niet (meer). Kan de route te lang zijn?

Kan je een link plaatsen naar die route? Wel even op openbaar zetten 😉
Dan kunnen we zelf ook zien hoe lang de route is en wat er eventueel fout kan gaan bij jou.
