@Ron-Z To share routes between MRA users, there are better options than exporting and importing via GPX (or whatever format). If you add each other as friends within MRA, you can set the visibility of the route (and any containing folders) to "Friends" and you'll be able to view and "use" (i.e. copy) the route, including layover times and all other MRA-specific features, from within MRA itself. You can also create Groups or Events in MRA and share routes (with all features) that way.

As said, for a Garmin device it is best to use HERE maps a routing maps, the layers are just to display other map views.

@Marinus-van-Deudekom Bedankt voor uw respons. Ik heb de GPX file naar de GPX map van de 660 gekopieerd maar het toestel vindt de file niet om de route te importeren.

@GT-JWR, by "taking 22mi to redraw the route" I understood that there was no recalculation, but it seems that there was, just not in your prefered (or logical) direction then). It is not that there are parameters to send you "back to the route" against any other logic than the fastest or shortest route. It would have to be simulated to see on what logic the route is been decided. I have no means of assisting in that.

@Pietro-t What are you doing specifically. I've just tested mine and if I download the route to the phone and share it via Garmin Drive it appears on my Zumo XT.
