Zumo XT file help

When i transfer a route to my Zumo XT, If i send GPX 1.1 files it gives me the route and waypoints but not all them to the end of the route. The 1.1 file says the route is the correct length but has the final fuel stop as the end destination and not the Hotel 50 miles away, the map is correct but not the points. If i send GPX 1.2 files as it says to for the Zumo XT the route can change to wherever Garmin thinks i should go as it only lists the the first and last point and misses out all the fuel and coffee stop waypoints. How do i get the 1.2 files to show all the waypoints? Thanks Alan

@ALAN-CROOK Hi Alan I'm wondering what way you are preparing the routes. If you could share the problematical route that would be helpful. I use MRA and basecamp to prepare routes on my Garmin Zumo XT and use GPX 1.1 as it allows me to see my "Shaping points" in Garmin speak which appear on the unit as blue dots and "Waypoints" in Garmin speak which appear as flags. The equivalent in MRA is "waypoints" which are like upturned teardrops and shape the route and "Via Points" that are little hands. The Garmin Zumo has a limit on the number of waypoint/via points that you can have and the number (much higher) of shaping points.

@ALAN-CROOK make those waypoints viapoints (hand signal) and name those points in the text field. Then it will. Or share that route here and make shure it's public so we can help you
