@Dikke-Wim, this is a comment that gets made every now and then, mostly by newcomers (no offence) that have missed the reasoning behind it. The navigation app makes deeply use of functions and features that are delivered by HERE and their software development kit. It is not intermixable with maps from other sources. The choice of maps in the planner is largely meant to make possible to compare between different map sources, and make them equal. Developing a navigation app that makes use of OpenStreet maps or TomTom maps would account for a completely separate app, based on other SDK's.

@Corjan-Meijerink I Just created a cycling route in Komoot on Android, and it places the added waypoint in between points..not at the end. Exactly as expected

@Jem-Cotton downloading off-line maps doesn't work for me even after clearing cache. I've had to uninstall and reinstall twice which loses the downloaded maps, if they were ever downloaded! I've given up on off-line maps for now.

@Jürgen-Wallocha You can skip more points on the route in one time by long pressing te next waypoint you want to visit. A popup then will ask you if you want previous points.
