Thanks for this idea. While we're not in the process of creating a feature "select A B or C road" since that's far too specific, we are indeed creating an improved route generator with our own novel insights into this matter. We're standing on the shoulders of giants here and have a good grasp of what it is that you'd most likely want to avoid, however, region-specific information is always useful. This afternoon I have a creative meeting with the developer in charge of this project and i'll be sure to mention how this is handled in the UK.

It's for certain that we don't want you to drive an awful route through blocks of appartment buildings because that route would technically be "very curvy 😁 "

@Nick-Carthew yep. Map layers were temporarily unavailable due to the teams' method of removing Google services and building the remainder back up efficiently.

I guess you've already found the answer, but anyway: The expand is there to add x number of waypoints to a route. This helps the navigator that you have to use exactly the route you planned on the computer.

Harm, Garmin doet dit idd zelf. Maar wees gerust, de duurtijd die MRA aangeeft is de tijd die je ongeveer zal rijden. Ik had laatst een route gemaakt met een duurtijd bijna 4u en Garmin zei 2,5u. Het was dus wel degelijk rond de 4u.

@Arjan-de-Vries Wanneer je dit in een route laat zetten moet je idd even over alle routepunten lopen (je krijgt daar normaal gezien zelfs een verwittiging van). Het hangt dan nog af van welke kaart je gebruikt. Als je route goed staat moet je maar eens vgl met TomTom (in Toolkit) dan zie je ook verschillen. Vandaar dat eer dikwijls geadviseerd wordt om met de track te rijden ipv me de route.

I think a direct transfer from MyRoute-app from your mobile phone to your TomTom is not possible. Therefore you have to do 2 steps.

Save your route as *itn and/or *.gpx 1.1 format file on your mobile phone. This file will be stored in the download folder on your mobile.

Copy this file from the download folder to your TonTom satnav. This should then recognized from your TomTom. I don’t own a TomTom therefore I can’t give you more advices.
If not already installed you can find a filemanager for this task for free in the google playstore.

@Hans-van-de-Ven-MRA-Master Eigenlijk niets, in de handleiding wordt USB alleen genoemd ivm updaten van het systeem. Verder kun je online alleen vinden dat BMW standaard gebruik maakt van Tar.gz bestanden.

Use the function „save as“ instead of „export“. The route will be saved in the download folder on your pc.
