@timo-martosatiman-mra, I am glad you are commenting in the forum again. MRA representatives seemed to be absent for a while. I am glad you are back!

Hi Dave, This has been a recurring suggestion, for now (as others have pointed out) there's no way we can implement this as our online routeplanner is a web-app. We're aware of this issue though. As our US userbase grows (I'm making the quick assumption that you're an American, as this seems to be a very prevalent question among our US users) we're looking into solutions. kind regards, Timo

@bouke-ent said in How do i transfer route from the MRA planner to MRA navigation: ... before you go always make small change and route will be up in list. Indeed, and clicking "Edit" (the pencil) and then "Save" without actually changing anything, suffices.

@herko-ter-horst said in Come far evitare o inserire il percorso in autostrada.: Google Maps is only an overlay, not a map used for calculating the route. If you select OpenStreetMap as the Map (used for calculation), you can still use the Google Maps overlay. Thanks - I get it.

@corjan-meijerink ik heb de optie gevonden! Super.

@stefanhummelink That's partially true. The last app update proved that a huge portion of people only know 'us' from the mobile app. In fact, I now finally understand why people insist on calling it "The MyRoute-app". Might as well be that a large group of people is accessing this very forum through the mobile app and not on their PC or laptop. If a new member is onboarded as you say, through the website and then to the apps, then that's indeed the 'happy flow'.

Thank you all, please do keep us posted on any changes or issues you're having (preferably through the main post, as that's easier to keep an eye on rather than foraging through the forums ) We're aiming for further improvement of download and share-with-other-apps connectivity in the short term.

@carl-lee You're welcome . That is the main benefit of this new app: it allows us to really update things rather quickly.

Hi all, I've added a new post under "announcements". Long story short; we're adding this functionality better than before and the update should be available shortly.

@mylle BMW NAV VI only supports gpx file format 1.1 to get waypoints, so be sure to export or in this case "save as..." as the export tool last time I checked only allowed gpx 1.2. Then when you have moved the file from PC to the navigator you import the track and then manually edit the soft blue waypoints you want into hard waypoints (orange flags). (open travel planner, route, and change destinations, click on blue dots to change into orange flags)

@drabslab Het is de track met viapunten, zoiets als de ontvlagde route.

@brian-martin I had this same problem this morning. I found a workaround by using the web browser on my phone to go to the MyRoute website, then use the 'page menu' as before.

@jack-van-tilburg Hi Jack, that is not 100% correct. The BMW Connect app can very well import Waypoint. MRA can currently only output support points as shaping. These are also treated as such by the CA (Connectet App). So they are invisible. However, the route seems to fit. The market companion outputs the waypoints as correct ( Via ). I have looked at the differences and found that both systems use completely different syntax. As ViaPoint in CA from Ku******.de <wpt lat="50.111662" lon="7.206711"><name>Wein-Cafe Klering, Keltenweg, Briedern, 56820, DE</name><desc>Waypoint 20</desc><sym>Flag, Blue</sym><type>via</type></wpt> Interpreted as shaping in CA from MRA </rtept><rtept lat="50.111634495892" lon="7.2067040205002"><name>Wine Cafe Klering, Keltenweg, Briedern, 56820, DE</name><extensions>trp:ViaPoint/</extensions></rtept> Interpreted as shaping in CA from MRA <rtept lat="50.111634495892" lon="7.2067040205002"><name>Wein-Cafe Klering, Keltenweg, Briedern, 56820, DE</name><extensions>trp:ShapingPoint/</extensions></rtept> In this, I recognise that the CA can very well deal with VIA as well as shaping. Let's see which of the two top dogs will find the right solution faster. GPX output postprocessing. I myself am one of the admins of the big German Garmin group on Facebook. BMW seems to be quietly moving away from Garmin. The last disaster with the N6 was probably one of the reasons why Tom Tom is now in the boat. Since I can see on Facebook that many people are turning to other systems. The BMW Cradle in particular has clearly triggered this consideration once again. Also for me. I currently see MRA as the only planner that comes close to Basecamp in terms of functionality. Greetings, Uwe

@timo-martosatiman-mra for the problems I am talking about I opened a ticket where I also sent you a video and I show you all the problems on the WEB, both from Mac and from iPad (device that I use the most), the problems are always the same and unresolved ... if with my name he goes to look for the ticket he understands what I'm talking about ... and in any case even in this version to create a path or modify it, the app always leads to the web version ... so what has changed?
