is there no way to search for your gpx files in the app?

Yes you can.
If you look at my screenshot, I typed the place name Braunton.
I have two routes with the place name of Braunton.
One is just called Braunton the other is called Arlington Mullacott Braunton
The search box found both routes.

yes, now I see the itinerary symbol, but it doesn't work for me, if I write any title from my route collection, it doesn't give me any results... am I doing something wrong?

maybe I understood… by writing just one word the results appear, but if I write the entire title of the path I'm looking for, it is not found…
