Roundabout issue solved
-
The issue where in motor mode the displayed / announced exit number for a roundabout would always be “1” has been solved for the online maps by HERE
Offline maps / other transport modes did not have this issue. The fix is independent of any app update

I still have a problem using in Android Auto. Most of the time the information box does not work and when it does it shows wrong information. Either the direction arrows show wrong way, the up and coming road still shows the first road of the journey and wrong road number. The information is correct on the phone but doesn't seem to make it onto the cars screen. So I have decided I've had enough and shall be using "Here WeGo" app which seems to use the same Here mapping system but it works perfectly in Android auto. Obviously the downside is I will be unable to download gpx files from the website, but as I tend to plan routes on the fly it shouldn't be too much of a hardship.

@Corjan-Meijerink
It does not seem to be fixed for me - every roundabout still says "take the first exit". It does it with both online and offline maps (iphone SE).
Do I need to delete and reload the maps? -
@Jeremy-Thomson-0
Hi Jeremy!I had the same issue, but with a little help form my friends here and some personal investigations I found out the issue in detail:
When your re suing the online maps with online routes, than all is fine.If you are using „Donloaded Roues“ the APP thinks you work offline and so you still have this issue. Mihai the problem yesterday and just used today an online route, instead the downloaded version and all worked fine for me.Thomas

Currently I am in Scotland. But it is far from solved. I ride with Android Auto
The map is OK.
The spoken directions are OK as far as I've noticed.
But the big info box at the top left shows no roundabout at all. It shows only left or right. Where it is nearly always the wrong direction.
The little info right below it (lane assistance). Does not show always the right info either. -
@M-Schrijver hi, I don't know if this is a problem with left-hand traffic, but I've been driving the latest version for over a week now without any problems with roundabouts

I did not notice any strange things in The Netherlands. In England I did see roundabout signs/icons in the upper left box but I do not know if they were correct. I was to busy to adjust to riding on the left hand side of the road. But here in Scotland all roundabout signs/ icons are missing. Just left or right

@TomOnTour Thanks Tom. I ended up reloading the offline maps and it fixed the problem.

I use MRA offline but still not good.

Try changing transport mode from motorcycle to car. I have just returned from Scotland and I had no issues at all.

I will check it but I'm pretty sure my profile is "car".
Just to be clear. It is what my Android Auto screen is showing. I don't know what is on my phone screen. -

Did some checks today
100% sure it is in Car mode
Phone shows it correct
Android Auto make a mess of it
