Roundabout exit instructions

I know this has been posted previously but i would like to confirm the issue of the instruction of take 1st exit on all roundabouts is still present as of now 8/5/24.

@Mike-Whitwam That is correct! Had a call with HERE and they told me the fix will be deployed on Friday

@RetiredWingMan Should not be the case as the issue only occurred when using the online maps

They need to check if the issue hasn't accidentally also been added to an offline maps version / SDK build. Anyhow, we'll discover that soon enough!

hi, I also found that off-line routes gave "take the 1st exit" but some (not all) on-line routes seemed to give the correct voice instruction.
I shall watch keenly for when the solution/fix is available

Yes, that's well known. Routes with motorcycle profile go wrong, those with Car profile go without issue.

@Con-Hennekens thanks Con. would you suggest using car profile rather than motorcycle as a workaround?

@AndrewDixon2902, yes that's the general advice for now. As I understood, the problem should have been solved by now, but HERE apparently needs a bit more time.

@Corjan-Meijerink any update, currently doing the NC500 with offline maps on my Oneplus 9 pro and still have this problem. My friend using an iphone using same routes but not offline is working fine Cheers

@JP-d Are you using motorcycle as your transport mode? If so, try changing to car.

@JP-d so the issue has been fixed!
The online maps won't display the issue.
Offline maps might show the issue if you have that one very specific map version downloaded that contains the issue.

I'd recommend either switching to car mode (as this is not affected) or update the offline maps (not recommended on crappy hotel wifi)

I cannot confirm this. Was travelling Corse and Sardegna three weeks ago and only using offline navigation with same result.

@Nick-Carthew excellent news roundabout instructions are working! Wish I messaged on day 1! I've been struggling. On day 7 now heading home just went past Glasgow (anti-clockwise). We actually did the NC767 extended NC500 from MCN.

More of a sight seeing trip which isn't my thing I prefer fast winding roads. But I can say I've done it.

Weather was pretty good some rain, hail and blustery wind low of 5 degrees.
