A meeting with Corjan Meijerink
-
Because of the Blues Festival in Delft over the weekend, I was only 15 minutes away from the headquarter of the MRA people in Zoetermeer. So, at an informative meeting, I had the great pleasure of getting to know a very likeable guy, Corjan Meijerink
I could see changed and new features from the current status of the app:
- Dark mode
- skip individual (tip) and multiple (press) waypoints, the skipped route remains in a different color
- the skipped waypoints can be activated again.
- List of waypoints with names and self-created text information. Skipping waypoints as described above is also possible here!
- Finally, i saw how to use the MRA app on a smartphone with the bluetooth keyboard: zoom in / out, screen scrolling: up, down, left, right, selecting individual menu items, skipping waypoints and and and... absolutely impressive!
What can i say: It's worth waiting, next beta will be awesome!!!
The community can count itself very lucky to be able to work with such a competent and, above all, likeable person.
Corjan, it was my great pleasure.
Greetings
Ronni
Great post.

@Ronni I can see the need for a Meet & Greet with the Mra Staff at an MRA event or some sort?
I would very much like that.
Perhaps Michel can arrange something like that.@Corjan-Meijerink , put your ceo to work haha!

@StefanHummelink, good idea! Some kind of a "Next Public launch" event

So do I, i've had this on my mind, too. -

@Michel-van-Hagen-MRA-Founder Hmmm, during workdays would require me to take a day off and many other users as well. I'd rather see a weekend meetup as @Con-Hennekens suggests hehe.
Maybe a scheduled ride? That way you won't have to be working, but simply enjoying a great time with MRA users hehe. -

@Michel-van-Hagen-MRA-Founder, for a "meet & greet with MRA staff", it is quite meaningful to have MRA staff available
Would it not be logical for you to propose a date? I'd love to participate, but I am sure you can continue without my presence
The public launch would perhaps be a nice moment of celebrating together. -
It was something I was already thinking about doing!
I'll make sure to arrange something
Happy to hear your enthusiasm about such an event - it was also one of the things I discussed with @Ronni. It's great to meet you people
