I must say that on our 4 days trip last week of course I have experienced the issue too. I understand that it is not funny, but I must say I am less bothered by it than some people here. I guess I have a habit of checking where I need to go already before I am fully stopped Nevertheless I understand that it can be annoying, and HERE should make it higher priority. Thanks for your statement.

I see it that way too, usually pay attention to how I drive into the break and how it actually goes on... Turning on the head helps

I understand your frustration and want to assure you that we are treating this with the highest priority. While there are some architectural challenges to address, we expect to reach a clear conclusion within the next 1–2 days and complete the remaining implementation work in the following sprint, targeting a delivery by mid-July.

For transparency, this regression is a side effect of a broader rework we had to undertake. I apologize for the inconvenience this has caused and acknowledge that our communication in this case wasn’t too optimal.

Hi MRA-Team,

I recently updated my navigation solution to a Caretta from Carpe Iter, MRA App & MRA Gold.
Unfortunately, already in my first test ride, I also ran into this error. In rural areas it might just be annoying, but in big cities, with complex intersections including multiple exits where a wrong turn can easily cost 15min detour, this could be a dealbreaker for me.
MRA is the preinstalled and well integrated navigation App at Carpe Iter and I am a bit surprised, that such an obvious error still seems to be unfixed after half a year.
Is there a bugfix on the way?
Or maybe a workaround where the App relies (more) on the compass of the device instead of the GPS position, if you are not moving?

Sorry for the harsh post, but after spending a premium price for a Caretta + a Gold membership, expectations were pretty high.

The bug is fixed in the beta for version 6 which has just been released.
If you are not a beta, you will have to be a little more patient, ETA not known but probably soon.

I’m a beta user and my current version is 5.2.2-489.
I was travelling with this version in Bulgaria and Turkey until 6 September 2026. Unfortunately, the rotation issue when stopping was still present. That’s my experience.

It should be fixed from the beta of version 6. Which is just released but maybe not on your phone yet.
