The compas direction on the elevation circle is wrong

‘North will always be up’ I’m unsure what part is unclear!

The issue is the fact that North will not always be up. I wish it was.
if you put the map in this orientation, you often see that the Red segment on the elevation circle is NOT pointing up, thus contradicting the manual.

Thank you!@nick-carthew Nick, to clarify my previous post I should add - when you are in fact heading North on the map in North up orientation, the Red segment may be pointing somewhere else, but be at the 12 o'clock. And since the Red segment always shows where the North is there is a conflict in the definition in the manual.

I know the North Pole and North on the map are not exact the same. But considering the few segments of the compass, should then the north pole and north on the map be same?
(I use MRA Next only on Android Auto. Every comment, suggestion, etc will be based on my usage with Android Auto)

@Con-Hennekens Ok, Con! I get it! Not the most intuitive implementation, but it is what it is....
Having said that, I strongly feel that the manual needs to be updated to state what you are saying.
Who would ever deduce that North does not really mean North when it clearly strates that " in the North Up camera vew ( map orientation ) North will always be up"....
When people read "North" they can not imagine taht it means "Top"....
