If i approach a traffic junction then it not always clear what road to take because maps is completly zoomt out. Is it possible if a driver approach a junction that that zoom's in to show better what road to take especially junction with a lot of turns.

@Cleo Tap the compass button until it says Dynamic Camera or North up Camera. These are auto zoom views, you can change the amount of zoom correction in the Navigation settings, Map layer.

Next turn and the turn after that can be displayed on the phone screen.

@Cleo I did say in my reply to you that the Dynamic and North up camera views have automatic zooming. You do not need to touch your screen.
Set the amount of zoom correction that suits you in Navigation settings > Map layer.

Thanks, I will take a look at that, with higher speed MRA App really zooms out a lot and the junction look very small only happening when you drive above 100 km/h.

For the rest it's very stable and usable app, only sometimes have the rare habbitat to go from the route while you are driving and want you take an exit and back to the highway while the origanal route over the highway is white.

@Cleo You may need to adjust the zoom correction to suit your requirements.

@Cleo Make sure that your camera view is either Dynamic or North up.

I did play with it today while driving. If i approach a juntion the zooming is reduced but my speed also. I do dynamic zooming but maybe i llike it more zoomed out on the junctions then the developers had in mind. So when i drive on the highway i like the zooming how it is but when nearing a junction on a highway i like more reduced zooming even if don't reduce my speed.

@Cleo, I think I see what you mean... Is it about junctions where you go straight? Indeed in those cases there is no instruction to zoom-in upon, and usually also no speed reduction that triggers a zoom-in. This has caught me by surprise a few times, mostly in forest areas with equivalent intersections when you almost cannot see the intersections, but do have to give way to other traffic.

I don't see why going straight on a crossroad is treated differently from going left or right. I made suggestions about that some time ago, but it was laughed away I am afraid.

I am just an enthusiastic MRA user, and hope you will be one too!

This whole topic is everything where all other topics about auto-zoom where also about.

Autozoom should be speed dependend and also zooming in on traffic junctions.

                              An example:
                              https://youtu.be/vzLnBvtyRkg?si=VeMZkmHjI5LKw_uI&t=276
                              Starting from 4:35

This is how HereWeGo uses the autozoom on junctions.

(I use MRA Next only on Android Auto. Every comment, suggestion, etc will be based on my usage with Android Auto)

I agree with you with this topic. It's highly appreciated to have an automated dynamic zoom; but it could be enhanced.
Sometimes, if there are double exits on major roads or highways - if zoom level isn't low (detailed) enough - you are on risk to take the wrong exit.
By "Murphy's Law" - if it was the wrong exit, you need to drive 50 Km until next exit, you can take for turn back. 😠

That's one of the reasons why I mounted a remote controller on handle bar. Now, it's easy to do zooming to the level I need - instantly 😉

                                Nothing is impossible ;-)
