Sharing a route created with in-app route planner?
-
Hello!
Let's say I just created a route in the Nav App on my phone by simply entering a destination.- How can I save this route without going to the Web?
- How can I share this route without going to the Web?
Thank you!

@Lenny-O Typing in a destination will create a simple A -B route that cannot be saved (unless you track the route). If you choose one of the twisty options you can save the track.
Sharing can be done by tapping the share button that will produce a QR code. -
@Nick-Carthew Thanks, Nick!
follow up questions:- What do you mean by selecting "one of the twisty options"? Do you mean the curvy symbols still withing A to B, or do you mean the Auto Route generator?
- What is the procedure for sharing the QR code? Where is that QR code stored?
Thanks much!

Yes, one of the twisty options that you are given if you type in an address or tap a location on the screen. Remembering that the twisty options are tracks, only the fastest option is a route. By selecting one of the twisty options you will then see a save button.
After saving you can choose to Open route where you'll have further options to view the routeThis will show the route-track in Route lab, where like all route tracks you can then click +Edit route-track to convert it to a route. You can also choose to download
where you have the choice to Sync (add it to your library) or choose one of the other formats to save it to your files folder.

The QR code can be scanned by your mate standing next to you who also has MRA Navigation Next. By scanning your QR code you and your mate are guaranteed to use the same roads.

@Nick-Carthew Nick, another PERFECT explanation!
You can't imagine how valuable and very much appreciated by me (and I am sure many-many others) your help is!
Bravo!
Thank you! -
