Hello, I would like to suggest that it would be very good and advanced if we could modify (both in the web and app versions) the position number of the point directly, for example by clicking on the number and being able to modify it and thus be able to have it in the order in the route that we It would come in handy, because especially in the mobile version, raising or lowering the point does not work "agile". Thanks for valuing it

@Pinyon In the web route planner you can drag route points in the waypoint list to a new position. You can also do this in the app.
In the app, open a route and choose to edit it. Then open the Show route details tab at the bottom and choose waypoints. Here you can drag to a new position.

@Nick-Carthew Maybe I'm not explaining myself well... Example: I have a route created and I add a new point of interest that I include in the route, it is directly organized for me in the last position. What I propose is that later you can change the position of that point by directly modifying the number and not having to drag it

            To expand on Nick's comment:
            Via the app:

            • Route lab
            • pick a route to edit
            • Show route details (down the bottom)
            • Waypoints
            • hold & drag the waypoint you want to move
            • Hide route details (now at the top!)

            Done!

Quite a few steps to write, but less than 30s to do.

[EDIT: if you want to add points partway round a route, you can tap/hold on the route line and add a new waypoint that will drop between the existing ones. If your new point is off the route, then add one on the route but nearby, and then drag it to the correct place.]

@Pinyon To add a new route point between letโ€™s say 6 and 7.
On the web click the track line to add a new route point, the new route point will now be 7. You can then drag 7 to where you want it.

It is similar to do in the app. Open the route and click edit. Now double tap the track line between 6 and 7. Double tapping takes a bit of practice but it can be done.

@Nick-Carthew Yes, I know that, but I would say that it would be a great advance to be able to directly change the order number of the point, being able to modify it directly

@Corjan-Meijerink I think it's a brilliant proposal. Moving the points on the smartphone is a tedious and complicated task.

The actual process of moving the order of waypoints is tedious and complicated, especially done from a mobile device. With a PC, with the mouse, it's easier, but even then it's boring.

If there was an option to do it numerically it would be a great advance.

I definitely support the request for a better way of moving points. Drag and drop can be quite tedious, especially with a large number of points that requires the window to scroll.

Even worse if you want to move a few points as MRA doesnโ€™t allow multiple selection. In fact, thereโ€™s a few things where multiple selection would be great, e.g. changing shaping to via or deleting points.

I think if the embedded view to the website in the app gets fixed into a native App module, these kind of things will be reconsidered automatically. In the navigation module itself I think there is no use for changing the route at all. The navigation module is no planner module.

The suggestion in itself is great though, and would make a nice addition to the website too. "Move waypoint to after existing waypoint X"
