Supposedly HERE traffic reporting is going to get better in an upcoming MRA release. Time will tell.

@Jörgen problem solved, it was how to select and deselect (hide) folders/routes, but Hubert found the button spot on.

Well that would be great. But I hope if AI integration is under discussion then the developers will open some conversations about what we want from AI. Or we could have a separate thread in this in the forum. I’d be glad to contribute what I have been using AI for so far. And I still think a lossless export/re-import would be straightforward to implement and very valuable in the interim and probably long term.

@Marinus-van-Deudekom Interesting. in the Garmin, "Traffic" is a real-time service that alerts me to conditions up ahead. If an accident happened 10-minutes ago and is backing everything up, I'm alerted on the device. This service has nothing to do with how my route was originally imported into the Garmin and calculated. Traffic related Recalculation can only happen if I allow it. in the Optimize Route navigation setting, I have the "On Request" set. In other words, I'm prompted (asked) if I want to route around the delay. Again, nothing happens unless I say yes to the reroute. If I do nothing, I'll sit with everyone else until the delay is resolved. But again (for emphasis), this has nothing to do with the original import/route calculation. So, please explain the "Traffic info has a serious impact on the way Garmin treats the route".

@Lex-K-Franks-0 The app will switch automatically if you have your routes synced too. To sync (download) your routes, open the app and tap Routes and tracklogs, now tap the 3 dots top right and select Sync all my routes.

@Marco-Forte-0 Not in the current planner. However, it is a feature request for the planner that will replace the current website.

They are actually working on that for a next update. There are different items written on this forum for this problem.

This happens more with satelite layers, rather than Michelin or OSM. Changing layers corrects this behavior, but sometimes not.

In addition to that, it would be helpful, to have a single button, to save all the app-preferences. When switching to another phone, you could import the settings by click, instead of walk through all the various settings.

I really do understand why a limit is needed. But this is a pretty unpleasant way to implement it. Today I needed to use my wife’s phone for a drive. So I tried logging out of MRA on my phone but her phone got blocked regardless. I would have thought the way to manage this is the way Netflix and others do it: if you log out from one device you can log in on another; and the account control panel contains the ability to see what devices have licences and revoke them remotely. Having to email support is a clumsy approach.

I would really appreciate this feature (subject to some of the detailed points others gave raised). Dropping a point off the road edge is the number one error route designers make. And it is very difficult to detect in the design process. When you take a group of 30 people out on the road, discover the error live, and have 29 people going in a circle because MRA is trying to get to that waypoint, that’s a pretty unpleasant situation!
