Route guidance issues

Anyone else having issues I have gold membership and everything me or my wife click on the route to start a basic route it keeps telling us to go to the shop and try make me sigh up and pay we are both already gold members this is naff and really annoying don't think I will bother subscription again as I cannot even use what I'm paying for

@john-b-78 Is it correct that you are trying to navigate with a gold membership. If you don't have a membership for Navigating Next that is why you get that message. If you have a Next membership for as @Nick-Carthew suggested

@john-b-78 gold membership is only for the web site planning app. For navigation you need a separate subscription/license for the Navigation app.

So what's the point in gold membership if I cannot even plan and route with it. I then have to spend another £40+ a year for the next bit ???

Gold membership provides enhanced tools in the planning app. Technically you could get away with just a navigation Next subscription and use the free access to the web planner but many of the features would be missing and you would be limited to 10 (I think) routes stored on-line.

The point of the Gold subscription is to be able to plan routes in the web based planner, with all bells and whistles.

The Navigation Next bit is to be able to navigate your routes with the MRA app on your phone. Two completely different things. Many people use a Gold subscription to plan routes for their TomToms and Garmins you know...

Route and tracklog storage is unrestricted with a Navigation Next subscription.
