Feature request - enhanced speed camera alerts

@Adrian-Avram, we can do without these facebook standards please.
@Con-Hennekens yes Sir !

I see others have already reported the same issue I recently wrote about in the 5.1 release announcement, but perhaps this is something the developers aren't interested in implementing... I opened a post as a suggestion, but it hasn't been considered by any of the staff...

@Aiello-antonino, it is not a matter of interest, but a matter of what HERE has to offer. That will never be as good as local initiatives like FlitsMeister for the Netherlands, or any other local alternative. If you are really interested in speedcam warnings: just use a local alternative that suits you.

I tried radarbot, but it interferes with MRA, I don't understand why... but my proposal was just to have a more decisive sound rather than the weak one that is there now, maybe set 2 warnings, one at 400 meters as it is now, and the second maybe at 150 meters, like Garmin does with speed camera warnings...
-
I would just kindly like to comment that we really take almost all user feedback into consideration.
Getting more traction for suggestions on the forum is great. But please really don’t start pushing me that it’s a lack of willingness to implement something. It will be considered but not promised. Giving two warnings in a few hundred meters is a terrible idea for most users. Yes, can add another setting but God we already have no many….
-
@Corjan-meijerink I don't know if for many users it would be terrible, Garmin has a double warning, as well as Tomtom, but it would perhaps be more important to put a sound that is more incisive, after all it must be an alarm, not an atmosphere sound...you are smart, you have done a great job with the 5.1, it would be nice to have this option too...that as I read I am not the only one who feels the need...thanks!

@Aiello-antonino I've been using Radarbot for years and it works perfectly with any app. You must have a configuration error. The MRA alerts were requested by only two or three users. @corjan-meijerink , thanks for your great work and for focusing on the topics that interest most people.
-
Tell me your configuration... it's absurd that you have to have another app open when we already have one that would work great... already the battery doesn't last long, then another open app that takes advantage of the position... well...

@Aiello-antonino If you are creating a poll, I would like to add that I am happy with the current sound and single warning. And I really do not want anymore settings to adjust.
-
Perhaps there’s a silent majority that doesn’t think it’s necessary either…
Personally, I’m not looking forward to more beeps on top of the voice prompts, Flitsmeister alerts, etc.
I also don’t like the idea of adding a new setting for every single feature—it would just turn the app into a complete mess. -
One more setting would make the app a real disaster??? OK...got it...
Even if I didn't ask for an extra setting, but a better sound...evidently the translator doesn't translate well what I want to say...then it would be nice to have a double warning...I imagine all of you have complained to Garmin and Tomtom because he had the double warning at different distances...I understand...I'm stupid...
-
It's so good for everyone that you all use a second app for speed cameras... it seems a bit contradictory to me, don't you think?!
-
I agree with Corjan a double warning isn’t a good idea. On top of that the warning stays vussible and if using a phone or tablet even turns red if you’re driving to fast. This feature is NOT available in AA or CP
-
So I use a CarPlay I don't see the warning, as you also write...and in fact it's like that...my phone is in my pocket...but you're right...it's better to have another one open...

@Aiello-antonino I don't like Garmin. That's why I chose an MRA. Here's radar database (not MRa's fault) is very poor and inaccurate. I prefer an app that shows everything correctly.
-
Using 2 or 3 different apps in mobile is not a problem. I use MRA, Radarboot, music and Rain alarm... no interactions, no hanged apps, no battery drain, no problem with sounds... On mobile and Carplay, on IOS and Android.
Every app does the best for his dedicated work. I preffer a good dedicatd app that works fine, that a multi use app that works regular on every task. What's next? Ask for mobile traffic speed traps?
-
So 3/4 of you agree...and we are 3/4 to ask/suggest a function...do we have to do the math? I guess you have a rugged so it doesn't download... do you suggest I buy another phone to dedicate to navigation?!
-
I use MRA in conjunction with Blitzer PRO, and it works perfectly.
I don’t need to make any further adjustments in MRA either. -

@b0hd1 I guess you don't like Garmin not because it has 2 speed camera warnings... but for the other... you should specify this...
