color of route when the waypoints overlap
-
Hi, I really enjoy using the app for planning and navigating.
One thing is certainly confusing for me when on a route for example I reach a roundabout and it's the same roundabout where I come through later from another direction it gets very confusing unless you look at the arrows or distance/number of exit. Would it be possible to make the color fade for the occasion that occurs later in the route? -

@Christian-Siegel , That would be odd, since a faded line indicates that you already passed. The white arrows in the routeline are indication of where to go, and also the shown exit in the next-instruction tile on the top left of the screen. I do undertsand the confusion though. Setting your line wider in the app settings will likely enhance the readability of the white arrows. Would that help?

@Christian-Siegel Yes I experienced the same issue yesterday, the arrow that shows the exit is the same colour and width as the road so it looks like there is a gap in the route. I tried changing the map colours today and on the phone app it looks like the arrow now has an outline so that helps. I need to try if the same map is replicated on the Android Auto mirror, if this fixes the issue I'll report back.

@Con-Hennekens will try that

@Christian-Siegel I experimented on Android Auto yesterday and changing the map colours in the App under
[Settings]
[Navigation Settings]
[Map Layer]
[Map Style]
trying different combinations of
<Colour scheme>
<Edition>The settings made here are also shown on the Android Auto version.
For me, this only affects the small local roads that by default are shown in white on the map.!

I’ll look into it

Hi @Christian-Siegel if you have planned the route you should be aware of where the crossover is & can place points on the exits of the junction
You should then be able to see which route is the correct number in the sequence
If your riding a track then this wont help -
I've made some improvements regarding this for the 4.3.3 update.
These changes are now going to beta. -
@Brian-McG that's a good idea, good practice to adopt

I think its the same question, here in dutch: https://forum.myrouteapp.com/topic/8315/witte-pijl-in-andere-kleur-mogelijk

@Rob-z fixed now if you update the app to the latest version.
