@Con-Hennekens Thank you for your thoughts on this. It may be by design, but to be honest I think the design is flawed then. Worst case, if you don't have any online maps downloaded (which can be the case on devices with less storage space) you have to wait two full minutes before you can start navigating. It may seem like nit-picking, but just try to wait to start driving for two minutes every time you get in your car. In fact, if may device is able to get an Internet connection after 15 seconds why would any app not start using that connection immediately. None of the other applications that I'm using have this issue except if there is really no connection or it drops for a longer time (> 1 min). Try it with waze : when you're offline it will complain, but the second Internet is restored it continues online. I just mean to say that there are designs possible where this is mitigated better.
In fact, I'm professionally employed in the sector of navigation and minimising Internet disconnection is a top tier requirement in our area.
I know such things are not implemented overnight, but it's something a good reviewer would list as a negative.
Trying to be helpful here and give the myrouteapp team hints on where customer experience can be improved.
