@Steven-Peyton I do it as follows. Android! Open the route on your smartphone, generate GPX 1.1, then open it with the Connected app. The Connected app offers three options: Track, bases, waypoints. Then just sync it with your motorcycle. iOS ... Here you should not use GPX 1.1 but ‘HD Boom Box Route’. Another note about the map material. The BMW app uses Tom Tom. You should also use Tom Tom in MRA. One more note about iOS: The name of the route must not contain any umlauts, such as äüö, for example. Otherwise, problems may also arise.

@Brian-McG I now understand what you did. I missed where you actually changed the calculation map from HERE to OSM. I had in my head that you were simply changing to the OSM overlay on a HERE calculation map. So yes, that method works. Thanks.

@Paul-van-de-Vondervoort-0 klopt helemaal, zo doe ik het ook. Het zijn vaak dus meerdere “offroad” punten achter elkaar. De rechte lijnen worden vervolgens keurig weergegeven tijdens het navigeren en de route zou daarna gewoon weer opgepakt moeten worden. Althans, zo is het bedacht Ben benieuwd of je dezelfde ervaring hebt als ik het afgelopen weekend. Hou er dus rekening mee dat het nog niet vlekkeloos werkt. Bij mij was de setup een iPhone 16 pro via CarPlay op een Carpuride W702, de laatste versie van de app en deze was online via 5G.

What profile do you use? When you use the motorcycle profile, change it to car. You can also add shapingpoints at the start and end of the ferry.

@Brett-Bartick, good find, I was unaware. I don't think it has been mentioned before on this forum Strange though as to why this is... It is not like the system physically searches through folders, like Windows Explorer does. This folder structure exists only virtually in a database. This is probably thought up to prevent many database hits while typing the first letter(s) of your keyword.
