@Steve-Kelly-0 I can only get the issue you show in the first post if I use OpenStreetMap as the route calculate option If I use Here or TomTom for the route calculation it is fine as you say it is with Google [image: 1783536325056-3df2c25b-5e5d-4e76-93d6-ff44132d5100-image.jpeg] When you have 1 routing calculator giving you a bad route it is more than likely that routing calculator is working with bad/old data If you actually go to the OpenStreetMap site your will see the it routes down the N20 with no problem as well [image: 1783536444280-6131672e-1ae9-4063-b8ad-9390b984a05e-image.jpeg] This tells you that the issue is with the OpenStreetMap data used by MRA, it is known that MRA do not regularly update their OSM data, they can be very slow to update so you will come across issues like this when using the OSM route calculator in MRA The trick is to check & see if you also get the bad routing calculation on the OSM site

He desinstalado y vuelto a instalar la app. He cerrado y vuelto a iniciar sesión en la app. Y en mi Chigee y en el de mi mujer, utilizando CarPlay y teléfono iPhone 17 pro Max, continúa con el problema. De hecho, lo he probado en el CarPlay del coche y hace lo mismo. No sé cómo adjuntar fotos pero el mensaje es el mismo. Ya no sabemos qué hacer. Por cierto, tengo suscripción activa Gold + Next Navigation.

@Reinhard-Punz I think the system is working pretty much as intended Any avoidance setting set in the MRA web planner is set the same in the MRA app for that route, the settings are part of the route & are synchronised in your account When planning if you want to ignore road closures then "Disable Seasonal Closure" option should be enabled this way you can plan the path you want to take regardless of what the road situation maybe today, in 6 months or a year from now The term "Seasonal" is a poor description of what the function does, originally it was for winter high mountain passes but its function has been expanded so now it also ignores temporary road closures If in the navigation app you decide to be online allow traffic aware route calculations of course the app will recalculate the route with the current data it has available As you have correctly discovered if you want to ride a route exactly as you have planned then you have to ride the path as a track & for complete peace of mind be in offline mode, that way nothing can interfere with your plan If you want to ride as a route then your open to changes being made to the planned path You cant blame the app for doing what you tell it to do In your settings you may find it useful to enable the function "Navigation Settings > Screen Layout > Lines > Show Original Route" This displays a white line of the original route/track on the background of the map so you can easily see where the directional path is deviating from the original planed path

I also find the Expand feature to be extremely frustrating at times. Here's an example where I created a 293.63km route with 8 waypoints. I currently export my routes to my Garmin 595 so want to Expand the route to include some extra shaping points. I Expand the route to 15 points total and the new route goes from 293.63km to 553.54km!!!! Note that my original points are all in the correct order. I sure hope that this feature can both be retained and improved in the new planner as when it works it can be very useful. @Kevin-OSullivan you might want to try the OpenStreetMap navigation app > Osmand for places a bit more off the beaten path The UI is a bit clunky but if you plan your routes in MRA & then transfer a gpx to Osmand for navigation, it works as well as most other navigation apps you do need to download to your phone all the maps for the areas you intend navigating these can be large & there are limits on how many areas/downloads you can get

@Guzt I normally don't use the connector but I downloaded onto a Win11 machine today to try it again and try to help someone in this thread. https://forum.myrouteapp.com/topic/11276/is-it-me/4 It worked fine. I can only suggest that you look again at your Windows security settings and see if there is something stopping the the connector "seeing" the ZumoXT as the connector opens or blocking data being downloaded from the website . In my case if the device was visible in file explorer it was visible to the connector. If I booted into Win11 (after using it in Linux on a dual boot machine) the connector could not "See" the ZumoXT but then neither could windows explorer until the device was unplugged from the USB port and plugged in again. In any case it is easier to put files directly into the device or SD card via explorer or to use the Garmin "Drive" app.

Sometimes the Street View does not activate automatically, as in the roads do not light up Blue. You may need to click on some road to give it a kick in the butt....

Maybe it's because of a WP limit to the 50 pieces ... also with the VI .., I don't have the N6 anymore. Sometimes I know a calculation was not executed in the N6. Maybe check ... choose WP under Reduce Toolkits.. as a test with a copy of the route.

@Tom-Balmer, I would not be surprised if it is a local caching problem. Try to remove cached data for myrouteapp.com.

Naar plan.tomtom. wordt juist de track overgezet en niet de route. De track is juist vormvast en wordt eventueel alleen door wegwerkzaamheden gewijzigd.

@Brett-Bartick it is probably historical as setting the map layer to default to OpenStreetMap was probably easier to code, everyone including Basic account users have access to the OpenStreetMap layer if the default map was set to follow your personal map settings then I think that is extra work to code, not a huge amount extra but still some extra work for the developers to code as it would need to access your account capabilities/subscription level maybe in the new web planner this might be changed but for the current version I definitely think not in truth I think the "Animate" feature is a nice idea but pretty much pointless
